These are 'Bag 1' @ £4.50 each.

I just wanted to fill you all in on something myself and Louise did from April until a week or 2 a go.

As most of you know I'm not a trained chef but I am a pretty decent cook, with baking and creating desserts, being my first love 😊.

Back in February I made contact with a local organisation who happened to be looking for an in house caterer. After an initial discussion and interview, a probation period of 2 months was was granted and then extended for a further 3. This is when the fun began 😊.

Over 5 months, we got to cater to larger groups, help put together menu's and gain more experience in a commercial setting. It wasn't without its issues but nothing ever is 😊.

Even though it didn't work out, it was an experience we'll never forget.

So now we just need to find another project until then we have plenty to keep us going 😁.

Amble Town Council have been working alongside Year 12 students at James Calvert Spence College to create a community website for Amble.
We are delighted to announce that this website is now available to view at www.amblecommunityhub.co.uk

The idea of developing an information hub was to create a space where local community groups and organisations can advertise their events and contact details, in one place, for free. We have included details for many within Amble, but we know there are more of you out there!
The success of this venture relies on people within the community providing us with information, so please do get in touch.
We want it to be a ‘one stop shop’ for anyone living in or visiting our area to find out what is available here.
If you wish for your group to be included on the website, free of charge, please contact [email protected]
We at Amble Town Council have very much enjoyed the opportunity to work with staff and students at the school and look forward to this continuing in the future.
