We are delighted to announce to our friends and customers that, from 1st November 2012, Dorothy Shaw's Florists will have a new owner and a new name - Shaw's of Amersham. Although the name is changing, our team of talented and experienced florists and the high standard of service they deliver will stay the same. We'll be building on the Shaw's reputation by bringing you even more creativity and originality - beautiful and individual designs for the home and every occasion.

After 10 years of trading here as Shaws of Amersham and following on from Mrs Shaw 40 years before that as Dorothy Shaws it is with a heavy heart that we have to annouce the closing of our florist shop here at 30 Woodside Road.

We will close our doors for the last time on Saturday 17th September and invite anyone who would like to call in for a glass of prosecco between 11-2.30pm to reminisce and/or to see us off in style.

We have had a wonderful journey with you all and we would like to thank you for your loyalty and support to the shop and staff over 50 years. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to provide flowers for all the milestones of our customers lives, sharing many joys and sometimes sorrow, but always with wonderful flowers. It is a special place for many of us and im sure for many of you.

As you are all aware it is tough on the High Street now and we would ask you all to support Floral Creations on Hill Avenue or the Flower Boutique in Little Chalfont who are both wonderful florists and we are sure will look after you.

All Christmas and gift items will be half price this week.
