We had the pleasure of spending yesterday evening at St Andrews Church, Ampthill, sharing tips and tricks on creating Floral arrangements 🌸

We began with a demonstration and talking all things flowers - seasonal favourites, conditioning each stem, how to arrange a balanced design - before everyone took to the workshop stations and created their own pieces!

Hello September!

September for us is a month full of planning & preparation; a build-up of excitement for all that's to come and the daily joy of Eucalyptus that fills our florist now it has returned!

This Month's Checklist:

1. Hydrangeas on the table every day alongside other beautiful seasonal blooms, each in a slightly deeper tone as a nod towards Autumn.

2. A dust and reshuffle of the shop to make space for LOTS of exciting new arrivals in the shape of ceramic plant pots, gifts, and everything cosy & scented.

3. Launch our Autumn Wreaths and Autumn Bouquets towards the end of the month around the Autumn Equinox.

4. Get ready to open our books for Christmas Wreath Workshop bookings 99 days before Christmas - Tuesday, 17th September.

Prepare to be enveloped in warmth as we transition to the most wonderful time of the year...

We are enjoying the last few sunny days of August, but are also very excited for all the lovely things happening in September:

-Autumn wreaths will be back and available to order from the 18th of September 🍂

- Lots of gifting items will begin to trickle into the shop. We will be popping out deliveries as they arrive this year to help you spread the cost and get organised earlier 🌷

- Our birthday is on the 19th, and we will be celebrating turning ✨️ 5 ✨️ (the time has flown by!)

- And our absolute favourite, Christmas Wreath Workshops will be available to book from the 17th September (pop the date in your diary!) 🎄 We will make sure to remind you closer to the time if you would like to spend a lovely afternoon or evening wreath making with festive tunes, mulled wine and mince pies ⭐️

Our little florist is always full to the brim with a variety of lovely house plants awaiting a new home 🌿

It can be tricky to find a house plant which is the perfect size for a plant pot you already have at home so we thought it would be handy to list all of our current plants and their sizes on our website for you to pre-measure!

There are also helpful plant care tips along with average heights 🪴

At this stage we are unable to deliver our houseplants but all are available for click and collect from us in Ampthill.

Hello August! 🌻

There is so much joy to be found in each of the last summer days- glorious yellow Sunflowers that tower above, warm sunsets that envelope the sky and long walks to admire the haven of life outside.

Inside our little florist, we have a joyful schedule of beautiful bunches & bouquets to arrange, summer weddings to prep for, happy house plants to keep hydrated and the beginning of plans for the seasonal shift to Autumn. It won't be long till Autumn wreaths, an abundance of Eucalptus and Burgandy Hydrangeas make a welcome return.

Until then, we look forward to flowering your homes with the most beautiful seasonal blooms.

Gorgeous bunches to end a sunny month! August, you have been lovely 🌤🌻

Every morning, our flower shop receives a fresh delivery of blooms! We choose seasonal favourites to celebrate each month's best blooms and have them sitting pretty on our flower table, ready to be made into orders, bunches or just pop in and pick up your favourite stems 🌻

Thank you so much for a wonderful 2023! A few of the lovely things you've helped us achieve this year: 🌸 90,590 stems of flowers have been made into beautiful bouquets, bunches, and floral designs. 🌸 We launched a new website! Complete with our flower shop and postal service for gifting products! 🌸 Continued to make our packaging and floral mechanics as environmentally friendly as possible, including new biodegradable cellophane & packaging peanuts. 🌸 The shop has been full of gifting ideas throughout the year & we are so proud to be stocking products that have a mindful focus towards the environment. 🌸 We celebrated our 4th birthday with bouquet giveaway! 🌸 You helped us raise £125 for Make a Wish on the town Christmas light switch on. 🌸 More of you than ever before joined us on our in shop & home wreath workshops. A few tips and steps to follow to care for your flowers: 🌸 Remove the envelope from your bouquet, and take out the care card and your flower food. 🌸 Take the bouquet out of the presentation bag and carefully empty the water from the aqua pack into the sink. 🌸 Cut the outside twine and remove the paper, the bouquet will still remain tied. 🌸 Trim the stems at a 45 degree angle. 🌸 Fill a vase with water and empty the flower food into this. 🌸 Pop your bouquet in the vase & enjoy!
