Day 2 of running 28 days for SANDS.
I stayed in an Airbnb with a friend last night in Buckinghamshire and the countryside is so beautiful!
My phone died half way through but I did the route 3 times this morning because it was just so pretty! 💙✨

💙𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝟐𝟖 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 SANDS 💙

Currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. That’s around 4,500 babies a year. And at least 15% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.

These numbers are shocking and show the scale of the problem.

Far too many babies die without scientists, doctors, midwives, or their own parents understanding why. The research that Sands is involved in is so vital in improving our understanding of how to save babies’ lives and using that evidence to drive changes in maternity policy and practice.

This is why Jiggy Wrigglers franchisees up and down the country have chosen to support Sands this February by running swimming or walking 28 miles over the next 28 days.

I know that money is tight for a lot of people right now, so there is no expectation to donate, but to anyone is able to, your donations will be very gratefully appreciated for this very worthy cause.

I will be aiming to RUN at least 28 miles or the equivalent over the course of the month wish me luck! 🍀
