Our newest boy Higham is starting to fill the sad loss of Hobo, with his Hacking & Lunge work he is gaining great confidence in his new surroundings. We thank Ann-Marie for helping get him fit. Higham will hopefully be into the carriage next couple of weeks and then a visit to Gretna Green Blacksmiths mid December.

Higham on his first of his many outing today (fingers crossed) of many to come. He was a good boy, all this in new surroundings, new smells and new noises - he took in his stride, tired at the end but out with the others in the herd with no trouble was a great relief to us all.

Welcome to ‘Higham’ our Gorgeous new 12 year old Friesian Gelding to the family. He is a sweet boy with a mane and forelock to die for, mummy Zoe is loving the opportunity to get him looking amazing. Higham as we now call him (home of Charles Dickings, was chosen by Zoe’s mum Sandra) he is a proven carriage horse who was working in and around Dublin at Weddings, Funerals and film work. After his late midnight arrival Wednesday night he had yesterday to settle in and meet everyone, today he got to go out to grass and roll & relax to his hearts content. He will be allowed a few weeks to settle and then start some familiarisation training at Gretna Green in the carriage before his first wedding hopefully in Mid or late December, there’s no rush. We wish him good luck.

An amazing day in Mikumi National Park Tanzania 🇹🇿. Our Safari today was just amazing lions 15 feet away in an open sided Land Rover was not for the faint hearted. But so many beautiful animals doing their thing, Zoe and I were just taken aback as it was something special.

Both myself & Zoe wanted to do something special today, so we took a visit to the local Marumbi village school here in Zanzibar.
With Writing books, Pens, Pencils, colouring pencils & some Sweets our gifts had the children singing to us, nothing can make you feel more truly humble. ❤️ZNZ 🇹🇿
