Months overdue...apple-0-gies... The menu has moved into summer mode here at Tapeley Tea Rooms! Below are current favs! Crispy Festival Falafel in my Turkish bread with the finest organicTapeley leaves & Salad, Smoked Mackerel Open Faced Sandwich. Served on Organic Tapeley wood fired Sourdough toasts, organic Tapeley Poached Egg, Roast New Potatoes & Asparagus (Yep ! Tapeley grown) Ramakin pies Mushroom Bourginon or Steak & Stilton and A Baked Camembert share dish with the crispy good for the guy biome organic toasts! Sending love and sunshine! X

We are back at Playa Cobaticas! I managed to find a local producer of Goats cheese, so my fave Napoli Flavour (Goats cheese & Black olive)is back on the menu! I also have locally grown organic Tomatoes for my pasata AND X-virg olive oil from Fredriko's private family stash... Mmmmmmmm!

Hey all, soz...it's been a while...but I've been busy! I opened a kitchen at a mates pub in Herefordshire, yeah! I got proof! Club Sandwich, Pizza Savoyarde, Vegan Shepherds (kofta, sweet potato & butternut squash && homemade mozzarella) Smashmouth Burgers, half rib in BBQ whiskey sauce, Philly cheese steak bagels, my Prawn garlic bread with buffalo mozzarella, Ramikin Steak and stilton pies!! ....and an occasional Guinness.

Just checking in, and reminding those waiting to book for their 24 and 25 events.. pick up the phone dude! 24 is getting busy and 25 has 6 dates gone already! All of the ☮️❤️ &🤙. X

It's sunny..get out there and do summer stuff! Mussels are now perfect for foraging in North Cornwall/Devon. For measuring, 1 Baseball cap=two portions of mussels! Leave them in cold water for a couple of hours in the fridge and then I steam mine in a simple garlic butter sauce with S & P(add a generous squeeze of lemon) they should start to open, then drown the suckers in a Pear Cider or White Wine and simmer. More pepper and another lemon squeeze, serve with a garlic butter doused homemade flat bread. Remember! Only eat the open ones, those that stay closed have issues. X

As if by magic the beef brisket comes out of the smoker after its initial 40 hrs...here's not one I prepared earlier...in non Blue Peter tradition! 😁

Preparing this beautiful brisket for this weekends wedding party! 13kg outdoor reared Dartmoor beef I traced from field to plate is first layed out then I add my secret spice Rub and into the smoker for 40 hrs....I'll show you what it looks like after the first cold smoke. X

Turkish Pide being tested near Bude today! These flatbreads (no yeast no sugar) are made with local Honey, yogurt and Goats cheese. For me another step towards phasing out ultra processed foods in the Roaming Restaurant! Message me for hack /recipe. ☮️❤️
