Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Coach House,
not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.

A sleigh parked outside had given it away,
Santa had been staying in our Coach hideaway.

He'd been making his list and checking it twice.
Checking who all at Kinblethmont had been - Obviously Nice!

All rested from his Coach House stay,
He was loaded and ready to be on his way.

With magic in the air and snow on the ground,
He left the Coach House without making a sound.

On this Christmas Eve as you look to the sky,
you may catch a glimpse of him flying by.

A whisper in the wind, as he flies out of sight.

Two Maids a Cleaning...... and a Pheasant by a Wellingtonia Tree 🎶🎵

Kinblethmont House is a 19th Century Manion House, built by the Lindsey Family in 1850 which suffered a catastrophic fire and had to be rebuilt in 1887, later resulting in the Mansion House being inherited into The Ramsay Family in 1920 due to the lack of a male heir.

Kinblethmont House has 14 bedrooms, grand public rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen and a bright elegant dining room perfect for entertaining and set within beautiful gardens on a mature historic estate.

A Pheasant by a Wellingtonia Tree 🎵🎶

Fun Pheasant Facts:-
🔹A pheasants flight speed is between 38-46mph but can reach 60mph if being
chased
🔹Baby pheasants wing feathers develop first allowing them to fly at just 12 days old.
🔹Pheasants are considered a symbol of good luck by some cultures, legend has it
that a Burmese Hunter found an Emerald in a pheasant and when he went back to
the area where the pheasant lived he found an emerald mine! - We would say that is pretty lucky!

Our Wellingtonia trees here at Kinblethmont were planted in the mid 19th Century and named Harry & Aggie after the newly wedded couple that lived at Kinblethmont at the time.

Irene & Guy travelled from America to celebrate Guys special birthday!, They gathered all their family and friends and had a fantastic week exploring Scotland, taking in the sights, wearing the kilts and sampling the whisky. The Fettercairn distillery was established by our ancestor sir Alexander Ramsay in 1824. That branch of the family moved to Australia before coming back to inherit Kinblethmont but that is a story to tell over a fine glass of single malt . 🥃😉
