I would like to thank everyone who came along to our Halloween Party on Saturday Night. It seemed like everyone had a good time. I also want to thank the Carmyllie Hall Committee with particular mention for Ian, Caroline, Sarah, Andy, Phil, Kati, Alan and their families Sammi, James, Nicola and Philip I couldn't have done it without your donations of food, juice, prizes and of course your time. Due to everyone's generosity we raised £200.00 for Carmyllie Hall Funds.

If you are interested in being considered for the company of our February production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ come and join the fun! 🍫
We are seeking new members of any gender, 16+ to audition for our ensemble.

Show dates are 18th to 22nd February 2025 and we rehearse in Arbroath on Mondays and Wednesdays (not always required every rehearsal) and after Christmas also Sundays.

🍬CASTING FOR CHARLIE🍬

With just 2 weeks to go until we start rehearsals, Arbroath Musical Society are looking to cast a young person of secondary school age 12-18 as Charlie Bucket for our forthcoming production! The role is not gender specific so anyone can apply!
Depending on circumstances this role may be double cast.

You need to be available for the production week 16th - 22nd February 2025 plus rehearsals starting mid September 2024 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on a Sunday as well after the Christmas holidays.

It’s Show Week!

We are all looking forward to seeing you all later this week. Everyone is working really hard putting the finishing touches to the show. All we need now are our lovely audiences.

A reminder, for those coming, that doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Seats have been allocated and that we will be running our usual bar and raffle. If you wish to purchase drinks or snacks or participate in the raffle please bring cash with you as we have no means of card payment at present.

If you’re a last minute person and fancy a wee trip out to Carmyllie to support local theatre this week then we still have tickets available for some of our performances. We are delighted to announce that we have 2 free tickets to our next show Hound of the Baskervilles which have been kindly donated by Pitairlie Garage. The show runs at Carmyllie Hall from Thursday 18th July to Saturday 20th July.
