It was chosen by feminists in Italy as a symbol of strength for Women's Day. But in other parts of the globe, the red roses are the most popular choice to honour the female’s strength and sensibility.

Marion hails from Tassagh & lives in Carna. She is a retired nurse and can put her hand to anything with her creative flair! If anyone needs anything crafted or handmade, Marion is your woman!

She is our much loved and appreciated delivery driver and loves to be out and about chatting to people.

Marion is the mother of Sophia and Bernard, she loves her four beautiful dogs and like her daughter is partial to a glass of red wine or two!

Sharon is a valued member of the Keady Flowers Team

She has been married 12 years and has four gorgeous children, Chloe, Aaron, Daniel and James. She loves getting outdoors and going walking, she has always loved flowers and her work with us is amazing 😍

Her favourite places to visit are Florencecourt and Montalto Estate but she couldn't pick a favourite flower, there are just too many to choose from!

Sharon can always be found in pink and loves to get out and about, especially to the Lake District as she's not a sun lover!

𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 - 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 💐

Hellebores are easy to grow and are undemanding. They look good from January to May. Their foliage is bold and evergreen, and in some of the new hybrids the marbled leaves are just as celebrated as the flowers.

Hellebores also make great cut flowers – simply snip off flower heads and float in a shallow bowl of water.

There are fewer pollinators around when hellebores are in flower, but the blooms bear rich nectar and lots of pollen, making them an instant hit for hungry bumblebees.
