This is probably one of my favourite truths I’ve discussed! 🙌🏼

Clients say to me “but what’s the normal thing to do or how is it traditionally done” and I always say “whatever you want, it’s your day, make your own rules” because there seriously aren’t any rules except that if you want your marriage to be legally binding you have to use a licensed person and that’s literally it! You don’t have to have a bridal party, you don’t have to have speeches, you don’t have to have a first dance… the list could go on and on. My motto is always “Your wedding, your way!” 🤌🏻

I LOVE Pinterest 🫶🏻 and always encourage my clients to use it…. BUT you must understand its limitations. It doesn’t show the price tag of such display🏷️ , it doesn’t show the amount of time and effort and it certainly isn’t transparent about the image editing 😬

Pinterest is great for a starting point and inspiration but do take it all with a pinch of salt 🧂

Don’t worry it is very normal to feel allll the feels! 🫠

Planning a wedding is, at times, tricky and that ok! People always say to me “I don’t know how you do this all day, everyday” and I simply say remember this is my job! I couldn’t be a nurse, or accountant or work in retail.

Ghosting us is not fun 🙃👻

We’ve all been there! I know that not every supplier is suited to everyone; we know sometimes you don’t vibe with us, or we aren’t in your price range but I promise that’s ok!! But please please don’t just ghost us! I’ve put together some tips on how to let a supplier know you don’t want to use them politely ❤️

The first question a lot of people ask me is “how much money do I need for a wedding?” And the answer is always “whatever you want to spend and can afford”. There is no right or wrong budget for a wedding, the key is just being realistic with expectations 🗝️

Don’t get hung up on what society says is a good budget and focus on what you want to spend on your day 💸

One trend that I am LOVING right now is dried flowers instead of fresh or artificial! I love the fact that you can keep them after the big day and they can become a gift for your bridal party too!
