Enjoy a fabulous Disney Princess Afternoon Tea at The Lyric Rooms in the company of princesses Belle & Rapunzel.

Our Disney Princess Afternoon Tea's have sold out very quickly and were all wonderful days with many happy princesses who all loved dancing and singing along to the classic songs.

Your afternoon Tea will be served using our very own beautiful vintage afternoon tea sets, table cloths and bunting with a delicious selection of sandwiches, tasty treats and dainty cakes, unlimited Tea, Coffee and squash.

Each Princess will also give a special live performance of their well-known songs.

There's also games, autograph and photo opportunities by our beautiful flower wall, and each child will receive an Easter Egg, and a special gift from the Princesses.

A FORTNIGHT OF FUNHOUSE COMEDY Lyric Rooms

Maintaining our reputation for hosting some the the UK's most popular comedy evenings, we have a triple-treat over the next two weeks. We simply cannot wait, so please grab your tickets asap to avoid missing out of these wonderfully entertaining and fun nights out.

Join us next Wednesday for the amazing Scott Bennett's Work In Progress Tour Warm-up!

After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott Bennett has rapidly established himself as one of the fastest rising stars on the UK circuit. Likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic. In demand by many of the big clubs, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living.

Next Friday 31st, Funhouse Comedy is back at the Lyric Rooms, for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is the somewhat cynical and gloomy Mike Gunn, who despite this has the ability to get the crowd on his side, however far he pushes! In his first Edinburgh Festival Show, he appeared as a funeral director! He has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), and Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV). He has also been a contributor for The Guardian and written for Time Out, The List and Match of the Day Magazine and was support for Lee Mack on a huge theatre tour.

We conclude our two week comedy-fest with our regular first Thursday of the month Funhouse Comedy Night where we will be welcoming back again the superbly funny and entertaining Hal Cruttenden.

Hal has a background in professional acting and has made numerous TV appearances, including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’, ’Would I Lie To You’, ’Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Mock The Week’, ’The Great British Bake Off – Extra Slice’, ‘Celebrity Squares’, and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.
