Every time we go to Buoy and Oyster, we know it will be incredible, taking friends along to experience it guaranteed new fans. The food today was incredible, battered pickles, battered oysters, prawn and crab dumplings, pulled skate tacos, (love sharing) then Porchetta for main, and sea salt ice cream, cookies, peanut daquise, this is one restaurant you have to have dessert. And getting the best hugs from was simply wonderful.
The staff are incredible and Craig's team superstars.

We provide breakfast rolls, mid-morning snacks of mini pies and sliders, ( more of these next year!) Sandwich plates and then ....The Beef Stew made always with Chandler and Dunn beef. Along with a Squash, aubergine and chickpea bake and Creamy? Very buttery mash or New potatoes followed by an array or desserts and local cheeses from
Bread from Kent Bakery in Dover.
We have people coming in from early morning checking the stews on the menu!
We get to work with the best team from Kreston Reeves, its a joy of a day, see you all next September..

Along with our private dining arm Green Herring Catering Co - Uk we prepped from scratch, served and fed over 800 people in 11 days from the 16th to the 27th September!
From Golden Wedding celebrations, a Kent Wedding Supplier dinner, a Eurotunnel Family Day and catering for two of our fabulous clients East Kent Ploughing Match Association for Kreston Reeves and Monkton Everyone a huge success, thank to all our wonderful clients and our team. Green Herring Catering Co - Uk our private dining arm held this rather fabulous pop up last night in our production kitchen, Comfort food on the farm! We have 2 extra seats available for the 4th March and have decided to do it all again on Thursday April 6th with the Beef and Roo course instead of Chicken.

DM if you would like to book, just 20 seats left, 1st come etc...£65 pp and bring your own drinks, glasses and chilling provided.

The feedback was last night was simply incredible, so seize the moment!

Hi everyone! I thought I would do a little reintroduction to myself for the start of 2023 ✨

I'm Chloe, the face behind Chloe May. I set up my fine jewellery business in May 2020, when I arrived home after working in Paris at a jewellery atelier. I always wanted to have my own jewellery business and this was the right moment for me - commence independence/freedom/scary business decisions/creative business decisions.

I handcraft bespoke jewellery for you all from my little Aladdin's cave based in rural Kent. I have one (unofficial) employee; Piglet, the miniature dachshund, head of security. I also have a brand new website where you can purchase Ready-to-Wear pieces of handcrafted jewellery.

I absolutely love my job and my way of working, and thanks to you all supporting my local Kentish business it is going from strength to strength!

Since we have had quite a few new followers on our pages, we thought we would introduce ourselves!

We are Tracey and Jasmine, a Mother and Daughter Duo who started Reflections Events in 2016 💖

After years of creating DIY photo-booths for our parties, Tracey found the perfect booth with the Magic Selfie Mirror, since then we have expanded to hundreds of props, loads of backdrops and our Instabooth. With still many more things still to come! We love helping you to capture amazing photos with your family and friends at any event! 💖

Happy New Year everyone,
I realise we have been remiss on postings over the last few months..so just to let you know what we are up to!

The dreaded C word had a huge effect on our business as with all our fellow wedding suppliers and coming out of it led us to rethink our plans. We had a wonderful summer in 2022 finally being able to bring our couples dreams to fruition albeit on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th date, this included our own son and his beautiful wife's.
With a team that organically shrunk we decided to focus on smaller weddings, parties, corporate lunches, celebrations of life of all kinds and creating a work /life balance.

We even took off time in July and September to travel for the first time in 25 years in the summer months.

So our ethos remains the same, bringing to all of our events incredible food, calm, efficient and friendly service and a genuine love of what we do.

We are only booking events year by year so if we get invited to a family event the following year, we can say Yes!

This memory popped up today, I love reading old posts !

Hello!! I'm taking part in October to show how awesome our industry is and the first day is to introduce myself
So first of all this amazing man next to me is my husband of all most 5 years and partner for 12 when he came to England on holiday from Aus, met me and moved to the UK, I think his lovely daughters and family have forgiven me now.
Not only did I meet the love of my life but also an incredible chef who agreed to join me at Chives the company which I had started with my brother in 1998 and which I had taken over the wedding arm of the business in 2008.
What makes me tick! That first call when someone says..I am getting married but don't know when to start, and the stress is in their voice and when they hangup after a lovely long chat and they are laughing and say they are all excited again, and then on the day itself when they look you in the eyes and tell you just how you made the day perfect and give you the biggest hugs ( oh I miss those hugs) thats why there is .
Between us we have wonderful children Emma, Joe, Jasmin, Sasha and my stepson Ben and their wonderful partners
And what do we do ...incredible food, amazing service and simply ensuring our couples get to just enjoy every second of their day and the planning too, and whenever they have a wobble know that I am there to listen and make it all better.
I also love food, gin, wine, movies & bake off but most of all my family, my friends and that incredible husband of mine.
Thats me and its why

What we do on our day off!

On Monday 20th June 70 chefs enjoyed a special lunch at The George & Dragon in Speldhurst, near Tunbridge Wells with students from North Kent College in the kitchen alongside four invited chefs who put together the menu. Initially created as a restaurant by my big brother Steve Weaver and then formed together as an outside catering company in 1998 until Graham Green and I took it solely over in 2008.
So very proud of all the literally 1000's of events that we have looked after, especially all the amazing couples that we have helped to make their wedding day amazing.
And of course all the incredible people that have made up our team over the years.
Some wonderful weddings over the next few weeks to come then a little break to celebrate a rather large birthday !
