St. Margaret’s Church, Hothfield, Walking Festival
This Saturday, 18th September. Meet at the church* for all the walks**

Raising money for the church. The walk is free; donation appreciated.
Plenty of and a variety of food and drink available in the church at the end of the walk from the Friends.

Walking, talking, admiring the scenery, taking in the history, spotting the wildlife, children discovering, dogs playing and just loving the fresh air. Then back to St. Margaret's Church to enjoy the homemade food.

Good afternoon all. You may have noticed that the dog trainer has resumed classes at the hall on Wednesdays. Fear not this doesn't mean the end of delicious fish and chips. The van has relocated to school road outside the bluebell centre (the old school) Same great food brand new location

Its with much sadness that we say thank you, and happy retirement to Mr Peter Howard today, after many years serving the community as a Hothfield Village Hall Management committee member he has decided to take retirement from the committee, we bid you a very grateful for your service farewell.
Also farewell to Acting vice-chairman of the committee Mr Phillip Theedom who hadn't served for long, but lockdown changed his direction and he's moved away to live closer to family.
Both chaps are pillars of the community and will be missed here at the Hall, but no doubt we'll see Peter again at events held here at the hall in future, as he loves a good get together

We would like to apologise on behalf of the chip van today. Unfortunately due a vehicle breakdown on the way to doing their rounds this evening, they are going to be unable to attend and serve today. They are looking forward to seeing you all again next week
