The frost looks beautiful on my lovely Thistle from I first bought some of their work from The Chelsea Flower Show. I just had to have a Thistle!

These were my most liked photos from 2024. My large wreath that hung outside my workroom over the Christmas period. I also added some over sized pine cones to it. The second image is a tartan wreath. This one was completely foam free and wire free so apart from the ribbon was fully compostable. Last year I signed up to be included in the Farewell flowers directory which promotes fully compostable and sustainable floristry. A lot of the techniques are old school but there’s always something new to learn in this industry.
The last image is of the hanging florals at a friend’s fantastic wedding that not only did I have the fun of creating the flowers for we also got to attend. We had a fantastic day and danced the night away. Looking forward to more floral challenges in 2025.

Busy day today, lots of wreath kits flying out as well as taking orders for bespoke door wreaths. This is one that was picked up this afternoon. I’m always torn between glitzy or more natural for my own door, maybe I’ll have to have two!
