A message to all.

Since April, I have went through a lot of different life changing struggles and in the past few weeks everything has caught up with me to the point I closed down completely to try reign in some control in my life. This has greatly affected my work and the relationships I have made with people along the way. For this I am truly sorry for any upset or confusion this has caused. It really does hurt me knowing this has happened.

I wanted to give you all an update on the work load.

Outstanding complete galleries that are overdue. They are being processed at the moment. I am working round the clock just now to make sure all of them are finished and returned to you as soon as possible. Please know I am working on them and as soon as they are ready I will be in touch.

USBs are here with me and those waiting for them, these will be posted out to you on Friday.

Any outstanding messages that I have not been able to reply to will be answered within the next few days.

Thank you all so much for your continued support and patience. I appreciate it very much.

You have no idea how much messages like these mean to me. Forever etched into my heart that bolsters me to continue being who I am. I love love, In all forms, mums & dads and their daughters and sons. The love of grandmothers, the connection with siblings and best friends. I have an eye for love and i make it my mission to capture those precious memories for you over the course of your day. Long live the memories 😍

Whilst we were in hospital with Louie in April I was contacted from to ask my permission to publish and Ally’s wedding in their May edition. I was so thrilled to be able to see my work in print. It was lovely news to receive during an unsettling time in our lives. Thank you for submitting. Lots of love to you!!

Our Louie has had a rough Easter break. He has been here in the Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow since last Saturday. What started with a skin infection managed to make its way into his precious brain, brain cavity and eye cavity. So he has been for Surgery to remove it. He has had his first good day today and we are all praying that he keeps up the progress.

Our son is an absolute warrior. The strongest person I’ve ever had the privilege of loving. I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to properly articulate the experiences of this week with Louie.

He was taken to surgery at 530pm on Tuesday night and on Wednesday morning at 830am he woke up, spoke to me and asked me where the Xbox was that they had in his room pre surgery, asked me to go get him a strawberry and banana smoothie and flipped me the bird 😍 😂.

Until my last breath in this world I will be indebted and grateful to his two surgeons, Roddy and Aster. My absolute heroes in this world. I had no option but to hand them the trust with my sons life. Something I hope no one I know ever has to experience.

I’ll likely do a right good gushy post in the next few weeks but for now I just wanted to let you guys know what was happening with Our Louie Boy. My little Lion Cub.

I know how expensive this industry is! And I know the majority of us would like to have lots of lovely little things on the big day but it’s all so extortionate and overwhelming. So I have created a few add ons to my photography packages that would help facilitate the cost on the day. For example. You would love a videographer to capture the day but you are already paying 1k for your photographer so the thought of adding another 1k on top of that would send anyone running for a bucket!! 😂 Ask me more about my Alternative Films, I have a few options available with prices starting from £250. My other add ons would even be a great little way to entertain your guest throughout the day so that would remove the need to book entertainment or the stress of coming up with something on your own. Give me a wee shout about what I can do for your wedding. 16 years in the wedding industry gives me a real insight to anyone’s day. Happy to have a chat with you on how we can personalise your day so you have a happy bride and happy guests!

A little restoration job yesterday. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. For the next 6 days I have access to a program that allows me to bring more detail to old photographs. If anyone has anything that they would like to see fixed. Please give me a shout, Not charging much. £5 per photo so if you have something that’s been sitting for a long time that should be displayed proudly, Please do get in touch. Love Nic x
