Tomorrow is the start of British flower week.
As growers , and there’s a few of us around we would love you to support what we are trying to do. Our flowers are grown locally, no pesticides are used just what Mother Nature supplies. Therefore there may be a few munched leaves. There is less carbon footprint as our flowers are not flown anywhere. Ok a car ride at most.
If therefore you like the idea of some British blooms for yourself or a friend then please give me a DM. I’m based in Weare and I’ll deliver locally if I can. Otherwise my flowers will be available later in the week at The Plough farm shop Tarnock.

Went into the The Plough Farm shop yesterday. These are amazing tulips. I’m coming to the end of my tulips now .

The main photo is some small postal flowers sent as a thankyou to my daughter. £19-the vase her own. The smaller photos are my local flowers. Far superior in quality and guantity, and including the jar. No airmiles, local and half the cost! I’ll be suppling more to The Plough farm shop later in the week.

Yesterday I had a pre trial play with experimenting with a table arrangement for my neighbours future daughter in law and sons wedding. I’m helping with the flowers and it’s my first wedding. We had a little play and now clear on the finished look for the day. The final look was with one orange Lily that was available in their garden as the colour way is orange and purple softened with ammi and apricot roses and eucalyptus. I think the final ones will look stunning on the day when we have the right colourway flowers.
