For those that know my DJing history I cannot even begin to tell you of the memories that came flooding back after I received this awesome slice of history from

The first picture is upstairs in Bang In Tunes in Coventry and was the room I walked into at the age of 14 and first saw a set of turntables. Behind them was Neil (FBD Project) and that was it….i wanted to be a DJ and I spent almost every weekend I could, spending money I didnt have just so I could learn what it takes to do what these geezers do so well.

The second is of all those epic Bang In Tunes flyers that young ravers had splattered all over their bedroom walls…normally accompanied by a sofa and a tape player blasting out those legendary tape sets!

It’s been a long journey for me as a DJ and it’s amazing to gaze once again on where it started…

A 50th birthday bash for Darren at the gorgeous full of beautiful people having a great time. We travelled through the genres from 80s electro, 90s bangers, modern day bum wigglers and a mini mix of K Pop tunes as requested by the birthday boy.

When a crowd pop it makes your job as a DJ so much easier and these guys and gals really went for it. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Thanks for having me.
