Buckinghamshire Community Energy (BCE), Haddenham Parish Council and Haddenham Village Hall are partnering to put on a event for anyone interested in finding out how to make their home more energy-efficient.

Featuring a programme of industry specialists , you’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get professional advice 🗪

Come and find them a long with a lot of other traders outside the village hall on Saturday from 9am till 1pm.

UPDATE: Work is complete and the car park exit has been re-opened!

If you're coming to the Village Hall in the next few hours, please be aware that the exit from the car park on to Churchway is closed due to highways repairs and the usual entrance on Banks Road is currently doubling up as an exit too. ⚠️ ⛔

We've been told that the repairs should be finished by 2pm, but we'll let you know if there is any change. Sorry for the last minute notice, we weren't notified in advance that the work would be carried out today!

will be with us serving up their Indian food

will be with us serving up their pizzas with a variety of toppings
leeskitchen will be with us serving up their carribean currys

will be with us supplying copious amounts of Pick'n'Mix

are doing the drinks keeping it local with and to name a couple

will be singing for us from around 6pm

Zero Carbon Haddenham will be on hand to take care of the events waste

Haddenham & District Rotary in association with Haddenham Screen will be presenting a Charity Film Show, at Haddenham Village Hall, Banks Park, Haddenham, HP17 8EE on Tuesday 11 June at 7.30 pm (doors open at 7.00 pm). Monies raised on the evening will used for local children's charities and causes.

The film, 'ONE LIFE' (12A), is the story of the KinderTransport project led by Sir Nicholas Winton in 1938. The movie recalls the dramatic rescue of 669 children from Czechoslovakia, prior to the invasion of the country by the N**i army. The children were brought, by train, to the UK to live with British foster families.

The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Jonny Flynn and Helena Bonham Carter.

We have invited a television and film production executive involved in both the “That’s Life” television programme and the “One Life” film to introduce the film. After the showing, they will talk about the making of both the television programme and the film.

This week is Village Halls Week 2024, a national campaign which highlights the essential role village halls play in local communities including in Buckinghamshire. Haddenham Village Hall has been featured in ACRE Action with Communities in Rural England campaign highlighting how community buildings can be made more energy efficient, and how management committees can support sustainable and environmentally friendly behaviours in their community.
