We headed to the gorgeous venue that is this week to set up this simple but elegant display for Amelia’s 30th birthday celebration.
Our mini champagne gold sequin wall and cake plinth coordinated so nicely with the colour pallet that the customer chose and also complimented the stylish venue decor perfectly.

Yesterday we headed to the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre to do a gorgeous set up for a special 40th birthday party.
The Norman Bragg studio is the perfect room to hire for all celebrations.
We obviously did the helium balloons and balloon garland over the LED lights.

I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to book in this theme and the wait definitely paid off. Patience is a virtue is always my motto and it absolutely was!
The little extra touches of the Anagram Balloons petite clearz and bubble balloon tails made it all complete!
The hall at the Red Kite Pavilion, Aston Clinton was transformed into a mermaid cove for yesterday’s party and it was a pleasure to be a part of it.

I’ve read a few things over the last few days, especially from Thortful cards regarding them turning down a 6 figure sum because they don’t want to sell helium balloons.
There’s lots of misinformation going around about the helium we use as balloon suppliers and we are using it w***y nilly when it’s for more important medical purposes. This isn’t the case and a big thank you to BAPIA and BOC for putting out a statement with the right information.
Any responsible owners of a Balloon business are already doing their bit to be more sustainable and trying to educate their customers to be more environmentally friendly too when it comes to helium balloons but we often get it in the neck when people just don’t have all the facts.
Please read for yourself the differences between the gas that we use and the gases used for medical purposes. Hopefully this will provide some clarity for those that think we’re ‘stealing it ‘

🧚♂️Hallie’s FAIRY FIRST Birthday party 🧚
My Granddaughter turning One was always going to be a special occasion and one that we obviously wanted to make super special for her.
Today we celebrated her with those that love her dearly and by the look of her cheeky grin she had the best time!
The balloons were obviously created by me at Ballooning Wonderful but a big thank you to Kelsey at Dream & Believe Events for the hire of the toddler castle and soft play and for also providing the light up number and butterfly wing.
Also big shout out to Becky Mattei for the most gorgeous tasting cake.
I always try and work with local companies where I can and I’m so pleased that Natasha from Leonara was able to make the gorgeous cake topper and the cake decor as it really did make the cake perfect!
I also got creative and made the cake stand for the cake to sit on. It’s something a bit different and did the job. Not sure how i feel about it if im honest 😂
Now to relax!

Tried the ‘wrap method’ on this set up. Since joining academy I’m trying to learn new techniques and this method certainly is a game changer for me and SO much quicker. Still lots to perfect but I’m getting there…every day is a school day as they say 📚
