Help, we need chocolate! We're counting down to our Midnight Walk on Saturday 22nd June and we're asking for more help from our supporters please.
There will be several hundred people walking through the night to raise funds for the Hospice and we'd like to help boost their energy levels while they're walking. Kerry is part of the โClass of 2024โ Charityteam, running the London Marathon this weekend.
Kerry says, "I am running the Marathon for Florence, as it has played a huge part in my familyโs life. My journey with the Charity started when I took part in the Midnight Walk, in memory of my mother-in-law, who passed away at the Hospice. I also lost my superhero Dad, who spent a considerable amount of time in the Hospice. It was there, we made some amazing yet bittersweet memories with the help from all the staff who later helped me personally with my grieving journey. Since then, my passion in supporting Florence has only grown and will continue to grow. They are my earth angels."
โI canโt describe all the mixed emotions Iโve had during training, other than my 20 mile runs and mornings that I was up at silly o'clock was brutal but equally I've had some lovely runs in the mud and rain. Training was all about pushing through and having a positive attitude which I didnโt always have. I hope that I can do the Charity proud.โ

โForever Flowers private viewingโ
Due to the predicted high winds forecasted for tomorrow, Waddesdon Manor have taken the decision to keep the grounds closed meaning our Forever Flowers private event will not take place as planned. Waddesdon Manor has a strict policy for high wind due to the nature of the estate and the large number of large trees it has. Unfortunately, this decision has been taken out of our hands.
We can confirm that the Forever Flowers private viewing will be delayed for one day only, and will now take place on Tuesday 16th April. Time slots will remain the same and we hope that you can make it. You will have either chosen a time of 10.00am or 12.30pm, these remain the same.
Understandably there will be those of you that can unfortunately not make the new date or your prearranged time slot. If you are unable to keep your original timeslot or cannot attend on Tuesday 16th April, please email Jacqueline at [email protected]. We will try our best to accommodate a new time for you or will be able to arrange a complimentary pass to visit the garden on a day that the estate is open to the public.
If you are able to attend on Tuesday 16th April, you do not need to email us and we look forward to seeing you.
We are tremendously sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this will have caused you, but safety must be our priority at a public event. We hope that you are still able to join us at Waddesdon Manor on the new date of Tuesday 16th April and look forward to welcoming you to the Rose Garden.
