They will be responding in the Aylsham area in the near future after initial shadowing by experienced responders.

Aylsham First Responders will be holding a public open day at the Fire Station, Cawston road, Aylsham on the 30th November 0900 to 1300.
The open day is for anyone to come and learn CPR, have a demonstration of the bleed kit (held at the station in the defibrillator box) or to simply come and see what we do or join us.

Open to all and no need to book.

More great training delivered by 🇬🇧🚑

Throughout the week candidates learnt:

• Catastrophic bleeding management (including tourniquets and haemostatic products) 🩸

• Airway management (including basic manoeuvres, adjuncts and suction) 🗣️

• Breathing management (including use of emergency oxygen and chest seals) 🫁

• Circulation management (including pressure bandages and splinting) 🫀

• Disability management (including head and spinal trauma) 🧠

• Exposure management (including temperature control) 🌡️

Students were also taught how to manage a wide variety of different medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest (for adults and paediatrics), asthma, anaphylaxis, strokes, acute coronary syndrome, diabetic hypoglycaemia, sepsis, meningococcal disease, seizures, poisoning and more!

Well done to all who are now qualified FREC 3 providers 👏✅

A huge success at the 76th Aylsham Show this bank holiday weekend!
