Who ever said that Sunday was a day of rest!
What a busy, brilliant day, which began with a latte x2 and a catch up and chatting their upcoming weddings with Gillian and Graham and Tia and Steven ...always a really exciting meeting and I can't wait for their big days!
Opened my inbox then to lots of enquiries..alot of which I'm already booked for ( my advice, get your Celebrant booked early to avoid disappointment)...but some not...so video calls arranged.
It's going to be a busy busy week too...finalising April scripts and having initial planning meetings with my fabulous May couples 😀 Sunday (19th) I'll be at the .weddingfayre..come along, it's going to be great. Then...HOLIDAY!!!! ...refresh and restart! 🙂

On Friday I had the pleasure of marrying Aimee and Lisa at stunning Dundonald Castle. Yes..I got my walking shoes on and made the steep climb to the magical grand room for the ceremony and heads turned as the Bride's entered to the sound of the pipes looking fantastic❤️ We had the old celtic traditions of handfasting and drinking from the Quaich with chocolate flavoured whisky and the Bride's lit a unity candle to symbolise their new union. I read Aimee and Lisa's promises, which they had written beautifully, before the Harry Potter moment when Ghost, @hootsowls, the very talented barn owl delivered the rings perfectly. All in all an amazing Celebration and a ceremony full of love, joy and laughter and a great occasion to be a part of. I wish the new Mrs and Mrs Scholes-McBride every happiness for their future married life together and of course with their 3 dogs too, who made a guest appearance for photos. Many thanks to Lauren at the Castle for all of her help...much appreciated 😍
