Well that was a headache, top 50 tunes of the year picked, so many great tunes this year, was difficult to pick which ones should make it and which ones wouldn’t.

Now the task of ranking them, I know what number 1 is and what number 50 is, but everything inbetween is gonna be a nightmare to sort out.

The life of a Twitch Dj

At what point do you stop tinkering with your set up trying to make improvements? I don’t think there ever is a point that happens. Whether it’s changing out your emotes, thinking of new channel point rewards, adding new equipment, upgrading existing equipment, it really is ever evolving.

It’s not just about the time you spend on stream, it’s the hours on end your listening to new music, searching for the tunes you’re gonna play, there’s no sweeter feeling finding a new tune, loving it, playing it on stream and seeing chat go off on one about it.

Then there’s your community, your fellow streamers who all provide you with hours on end of their form of trance therapy. You don’t just end stream and thats you until your next one, there’s so many amazing DJs on the platform, and it’s a pleasure to tune in, and lose yourself in whatever they are playing.

And lastly, but certainly not least, there’s your viewers, the people who make all the effort worthwhile, it always raises a smile seeing people having a great time in chat.

The most important thing to remember to do, always have fun. Don’t stress about things outwith your control, play your music, lose yourself in it, it’s your love of music that started you on your journey, and it’s that which keeps you doing it ❤️
