We’ve been lucky enough to cater some more wonderful weddings and celebrations today 🎉

Canapés of smoked salmon and dill blini, Oriental crisp pork belly, homemade mini sausage rolls, melted Camembert on Melba toast with red onion chutney, crispy coated king prawns 🍤 with a sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Flo and Charlie opted for Our signature succulent Hot Roast Pulled Pork sandwiches for their main course.

A 60th birthday bash for Peter and his family and friends featuring a specialty Greek banquet 🇬🇷

Matt and Lisa’s guests enjoyed a BBQ feast 🔥 with sweet maple pork steaks, Old English pork sausages, beef steak burgers, vegetable kebabs, lamb koftas and marinated chicken breasts.

We made some picnic boxes for their younger guests containing mini sandwiches of all varieties, crisps, jelly and a sweet treat and we personalised them so they felt just as special and important 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who has allowed us to be part of their special celebration today, we’ve had a wonderful time and we hope you all did too ❤️

We had the pleasure of catering Jess and Dan's stunning wedding yesterday near Chesterfield, and what a beautiful day it was!🥂

The Wedding Breakfast kicked off with a selection of canapés featuring smoked salmon blini, keeping it local using Derbyshire Oatcakes as the base, mini Yorkshire pudding with home reared beef brisket and horseradish cream, melted Camembert on Melba toast with a caramelised red onion chutney and crisp belly pork with an Oriental glaze and carrot dressing.

This was followed by a relaxed BBQ banquet offering a whole range of mouth watering meats, and vegetarian and gluten free options to suit all tastes.

For a sweet end to the meal the guests were treated to chocolate profiteroles and zesty gluten free lemon cheesecake.

As the evening unfolded, the Bride and Groom had chosen a selection of Italian style pizzas from our extensive pizza menu 🍕 and our homemade lasagne with a range of fresh salads.

A heartfelt thank you to the lovely couple for allowing us to cater for their special day 😊 The wedding was as beautiful as it was relaxed and we're sure many hours of hard work went into prepping for the event by their family and friends!

"The Ginger Cooks catered our wedding in September last year on possibly the hottest day of the year - and we had chosen a roast dinner! The food was perfect, especially considering the very hot conditions and all of our guests were raving about the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. We had a cheese tower and pizza in the evening too - everything went down so well! We had a lot of email communication with Emma on the run up to the wedding and she couldn't have been more helpful or flexible as well! Highly recommend for any big event catering!" Hannah Sterritt
