While red roses are a classic symbol of love and often associated with Valentine’s Day, it’s not necessary to only give red roses and there are many other flowers and gestures that can express love just as meaningfully; people can choose flowers based on personal preference, the recipient’s favorite colour, or even opt for non-floral gifts to celebrate Valentine’s Day

Pink roses can symbolize admiration, yellow roses represent friendship, and white roses signify purity.

February can be a very busy month for a wedding florist, primarily due to the high demand for flowers around Valentine’s Day, which often overlaps with couples actively planning weddings and seeking floral arrangements; this means many florists will experience a peak in wedding inquiries and bookings during this time.

Once you have found a florist you love book them! My procedure starts with asking for a booking fee which is paid to reserve your date with me. Once that has been paid I will not offer you date out to other couples, it’s guaranteed yours. They I continue to work on your quote until you are happy with everything, including the price! I have in the past had Brides who have taken weeks and sometimes months to decide that they are gong to book me, waiting until every detail is correct and by that time someone else has come along and I can no longer do their flowers for them. I only hold the quote for 30 days and then I offer it out to other couples so once you know you would like to work with me it’s best to get booked in and worry about the detail afterwards.

Don’t leave it too late so you become stressed – leave it too late and it just becomes a hassle and a stress. It’s your big day so make the most of each and every minute of it, including the very best bit of the planning….working with me!

Creating floral designs and being a part of a couple’s biggest day soon becomes clear that all of passion and effort I put into designing briefs is so worth it.

Like any other job, it can have exhaustingly long hours. However, I wouldn’t change it for the world. It allows me the opportunity to see my couple dreams and visions become a reality and transform them into something even more exquisite in real life.

I am delighted to announce that I will be teaching a Christmas wreath workshop on 17th December between 6-9pm with a glass of Prosecco and a Buffett selection @ £50pp

You will learn how to decorate a fresh wreath base, onto which you will add seasonal foliage for texture and scent, dried fruit, and lots of other extras for added colour and decoration so that you can get really creative.

All materials will be provided during the workshop.

A gorgeous ceremony for Eliana who married in Camden

A Greek Orthodox wedding takes place in an Orthodox church between a Greek Orthodox couple, with both the best man (known as the koumbaro) and maid of honour (known as the koumbara) also being of Greek Orthodox faith, although other bridesmaids and groomsmen don’t need to be Orthodox.

Ya mas! If you’ve been invited to a Greek wedding, it’s definitely cause to celebrate – you’re in for a lot of fun, and the festivities begin early (at least a week before the wedding). While Greek weddings have often been portrayed on the big screen, there are many Greek marriage traditions that you may not be aware of, and a few that are well known in popular culture but that have fallen out of favour IRL – namely, plate smashing.

Greek weddings are joyful and inclusive affairs with abundant food, drinks and dancing and plenty of unique customs that are steeped in ancient history and heritage. Whether you’re attending a formal Greek Orthodox wedding or a secular Greek wedding, you’ll likely encounter more than a few Greek wedding traditions both before and during the big event.
