BIG thank yous to Ballater's Co-op for their generous donation of tea and coffee to this week.
This will benefit of number of user groups at the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater, including Toasty!, Ballater Evergreen Club, The Wee Ducklings - Upper Deeside Community Playgroup staff and volunteers and anyone else who finds themselves short of a teabag.

Come down and see us at the Victoria and Albert Halls, Station Square Ballater for Lego and other displays, free craft activities, refreshments and a few wee competitions!

Ballater Lego Club's Big Build Christmas display is good to go for tomorrow's Ballater Winter Festival!
You can find us in the Cairngorms National Park room on the corner of the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater
10-4.
Free entry, the lovely ladies from the CNPA community engagement team will have some treats and crafts to share.
We will also have fab prizes up for grabs in BLC pick a squares and an advent calendar lucky dip, thanks to Ballater's finest AFOL, Nicola Reid ❤️

Huge thanks to everyone who came along this weekend and supported our little project, also for your generous donations and creative commitment to the claus...
It's nearly there! There will be a bit more elfing on the layout over the next few days before the big reveal at Ballater Winter Festival on Saturday.

Well, that was fun!
Fantastic progress made today with over 30 folks making their way to the Mike Sheridan Room to tackle these builds and create a wonderful Lego Christmas Village for next Saturday's Ballater Winter Festival.
Still lots to do tomorrow (Sunday). Come and join us from 10-4 at the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater

Aaaand finally, here's the collection of prizes to be ploughed into a number of Pick-A-Squares this weekend!
Should be able to take cash or card, but bring your £1s just in case.

Here's a snapshot of what we have in store for you this weekend (Bert allowing).
There are five BIG sets to tackle, as well as a unique festive village "scene" to create alongside them.
You can make Lego snowballs and stars, and there's free play for any humbugs.
This is potentially a big team effort, but you can stay for as little or as long as you like.
Entry is free, donations to Ballater Lego Club welcome.
Tea and biscuits supplied (by all means bring your lunch).
Hopefully it will be warm...

So it seems Bert may have other plans for us this weekend...
We are set up and ready to go for the Ballater Lego Club: BIG Build Christmas... from 10am tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.
We will be open to anyone who can travel/walk there safely and obviously you should use your own judgment about that.
The event/s will only be cancelled if we experience a lengthy power cut or if the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater are required for alternative use.
Looking forward to building with you.

Fun and games at last Sunday's Havoc... Huge thanks to Aboyne Photographics - Laura & Russell Hogg for helping us so much on the day with setting up, helping the kids craft the fabulous pebbles for Ballater Playpark Improvements Group PIG's Big Pig Pebble Hunt (coming soon) and for creating this lovely little film! Thanks also to the The Bothy Ballater for their delicious brownies, Ryan in the kitchen, and Ryah and Kate in the chaos. Havoc @theHalls will return on March 17th.
