A sneak peek of what on offer from our soon to be available takeaway menu 😋👀

Roti Canai or Roti Pratha(in Singapore) is a popular panfried flatbread in Malaysia , you will find this delightful meal in Indian restaurants in Malaysia. It is recently listed as best bread in the world by TasteAtlas. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, it is eaten anytime, dip in curry or just a sprinkle of sugar on top. Yum !

Satay is a classic Malaysian street food enjoyed and loved by everyone. You will find them in the bustling streets of Malaysia as well as in fine dining restaurants. The chicken is marinated in aromatic spices, slow grilled before being served with a sweet & tangy homemade peanut sauce.

Nasi Goreng - “Goreng’ means fried in Malay, while “Nasi’ is rice. A multi-cultural fried rice dish in Malaysia. We want our customers to experience fried rice in a tantalising Malaysian style - our gourmet nasi goreng ( we offered the choice of chicken or prawn in our menu) comes with 2 chicken skewers, papadam , satay peanut sauce, sambal and chili-garlic-soy dip.

Mee Goreng - our mee goreng is extremely popular with our customers - stir fried noodles (no egg) with soya sauce, vegetables and marinated chicken. A crowd favourite, our young customers loved them too ! Served with homemade sambal and chilli garlic soy dip on the side.

*All dishes are home cooked and is available for order covering Kells, Connor and surrounding areas from 1st December. Orders only available from Ballymena Eats.

Beef Rendang - rendang,a name that came from the Indonesian word ‘merandang ’ or ‘randang’ which means ‘slowly’, referring to the long cooking process. Our rendang paste is prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients ie. shallots, garlic, lemongrass, chillies, galangal, ginger, kaffir lime leaves, tamarind, palm sugar. The beef is slow cooked and infused with aromatic spices and creamy coconut milk, making this dish incredibly flavourful. Served with steamed rice

'Sambal' - is a popular condiment in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. The sambal paste is an integral part of Malaysian cuisin ; it is made from chiles, spices, herbs, and aromatics. It has a complex flavour that is spicy, umami and hot all at once. This hot and spicy chilli paste is a great compliment to almost all rice and noodles dishes.

Tofu in Hoisin Sauce
The tofu is marinated in hoisin sauce and garlic, it is lightly panfried and served with carrots and hoisin sauce, garnished with aromatic fried garlic and spring onion.

Tofu in Teriyaki Sauce
Served on a bed of stir fried bell pepper and carrots, the tofu is double panfried and then coated in teriyaki sauce.

We are very pleased to announce that starting on December 1st we will be accepting orders for home delivery service in the Ballymena, Kells, Conor and surrounding areas 🚚

We have been working very hard behind the scenes to get our new service up and running and we are just weeks away!
- we will be offering authentic, home cooked Malaysian and South East Asian food delivered straight to your door. Our menu including Malaysian famous street food such as grilled chicken satays, mee goreng fried noodles, crispy roti canai & curry, delicious beef rendang all served with our home made sambal chilli if you like a little extra heat! 🌶️🌶️

The service will be available to order from the Ballymena Eats website & app from 1st December. Follow us here for more updates, promotions and offers in the coming weeks!

We will be bringing our popular freshly made curry puffs again after selling out during May Fair market days - we are so happy everyone commented and enjoyed them!! We really appreciate feedback of any kind folks but when it's so positive it's very encouraging, thank you 😁🙏

We will of course be selling our freshly made Mee Goreng & Nasi Goreng also - with the sunny weather forecast they should taste great - a little piece of Malaysian sunshine to accompany the authentically made SE Asian food !! 🍜 ☀️ 😎👍
