✨ Hello & Welcome ✨

I’m Claire 👋 the owner of After planning my own wedding with a young child, I realised just how important it is for parents to have peace of mind on such a special day. That’s why I started wedding nannying – to support families and ensure little ones are happy, cared for, and entertained while the grown-ups celebrate. 💍💖

A little about me:
👧I’m a mum to a 3-year-old girl
🎓 I hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies
✈️I’ve worked with children across the world as a nanny, au pair, and in crèches
💜 I’m a registered childminder with over 13 years’ experience, including working with children with additional needs and at the NI Children’s Hospice

I have lots of tips and tricks up my sleeve after doing so many weddings, so here’s a couple I thought I would share:

💍 Ceremony with Kids? Here’s the Secret to Keeping it Calm 💛

The vows are about to start…
The music is playing…
And you just know your toddler is about to wriggle, fidget, or shout “I’m bored!” 🙈

As a wedding nanny, I’ve helped so many little guests sail through ceremonies — here’s how you can too:

🍼 Time naps smartly
If the ceremony falls at nap time, pop them in a pram and take them for a quick walk before, ask a designated person (someone who isn’t in the wedding party and definitely not the grandparents (they really don’t want to miss out on their child getting married) After a nap they will wake up all fresh for the photos which is a memory you will have forever 🥰
If you want them awake for the ceremony you can get them up earlier/ later to suit their sleep needs. Pack a dummy, comforter, bottle and snacks and a couple of their favourite toys.

🎨 For older children pack a “quiet kit”
Fidget toys, crayons, colouring pages, stickers — and a few sweets never hurt! The key? Nothing noisy or messy.

🧻 Bring the essentials
A couple of wipes and tissues can save the day — trust me!

✨ A Special Overnight at Culloden ✨

This weekend, I had the absolute privilege of supporting a wonderful family at their wedding celebration with my Wedding Nanny Overnight Package.

While the guests enjoyed a magical evening at the stunning Culloden Estate, I spent the night with their amazing son, who has autism — making sure he felt calm, comfortable, and cared for while his parents celebrated worry-free.

Every child is different, and that’s exactly why I tailor each experience to their unique needs — whether that means creating a quiet space away from the party, following familiar routines, or simply being a reassuring presence overnight.

Weddings can be overwhelming for little ones, especially those with additional needs — but with the right support, everyone can enjoy the day their own way 💛

Ensuring safety of your little one’s is paramount ⛑️

Saturdays wedding at the lovely

I had the pleasure of looking after 3 little boys yesterday, the parents added there littlest one on the day as he’s more mobile than the time of booking, as long as this is within my numbers this is no problem. This was for the best man, knowing he would be in the wedding with 3 children they were right to hire help 😄

This is my second time at estate and not only is the venue beautiful inside and out they have the most important room, the playroom!! This was great place to play and we had great company of my friend and wedding nanny and her three mini’s. We played with the toys we had brought and played some party games, this was great craic all round!

After playing we accompanied the children to dinner which tasted amazing and I even got my own name tag “nanny Claire” we brought a couple toys in and kept them entertained so the parents could eat their dinner in peace, mum said this was her favourite bit as with 3 children to keep and eye on having an adult conversation is next to impossible.

After this the two eldest had a boogie and enjoyed dancing with the glow sticks with their cousins until they were all danced out, I then helped get them to bed so the parents could enjoy the rest of their evening until the early hours!

This was my first wedding of 2025 and what a wedding it was, lovely family, great venue and great food and getting to work alongside my good friend nanny cat!
