Such a beautiful wedding with most loveliest wee boy ever who stole the show (sorry bride) but he was the best wee boy all day!

I arrived before the ceremony and had a wee play and crawl around before the guest arrived. Once the ceremony started he was due a wee sleep so I took him out for a walk around outside where he had a short nap and was up and ready just in time for the photos 😃 the photographer mentioned how much easier his job was that I was there as we all know children only last about 3 minutes of photos then they are done ☺️

After this we arrived at the lovely tullyglass, the staff are so lovely here they can’t do enough for you! I had some mats and toys out and a balloon that he LOVED and spotted it from across the room 😂❤️We mingled so everyone got to say hello and the lovely singer even sang baby shark for him so we could have a boogie 😀

During the speeches we had another wee play so his was ready to sit for the meal.He then had some time at the table with his family when I went and got some food, the bride and groom then settled him to bed and I took over so they could enjoy the rest of the night with their guests.

I spoke to the lovely staff at tullyglass and they asked for me to hand some cards in so if you are doing a walk around there and have young children attending your wedding be sure to ask for my details 😃Again thanks to everyone for keeping me so busy and all the recommendations ❤️

Last nights babysitting package at Beechlawn Hotel

Last night I had the pleasure of looking after two beautiful little girls for the bride and groom, I came just as dinner was finished until the night was over.

We had a lovely play in the room, bubbles, dolls house and Playdough were a big hit with these girlies. Then they had a PJ party and did skincare (how cute)

I met some lovely people at this wedding and was lovely to receive a message the day after thanking me for looking after the children so the bride and groom could have piece of mind on their big day, that’s is why I do what I do, this isn’t just a job for me it’s my fun “job” and something I’m passionate about.

Do I have to attend your wedding to look after your children?

The answer is no, last night I did an overnight at the lovely Templemoyle House for the bride and grooms little girl alongside their cousins at a house the family were staying at close by to the venue.

I came to the house just in time for some
bedtime stories right through to the next morning so the adults could enjoy themselves without having a monitor overnight or having to worry about getting up in the middle of the night (I had to do this on my wedding night and it wasn’t much craic 😅😂)

Do ceremony’s and young children go?

Do you have a little one and you’re unsure about what you will do for the ceremony?? Are you getting married with small children? Have you thought about what you will do during the ceremony if they miss their nap? Are upset? Aren’t able to sit still?? Want you?

This was the biggest stress I had for my wedding so I often wonder what do other people do? Do they get a family member or a guest to leave to settle the little one? Surely the person leaving is someone who knows the child well therefore an important person to the bride and groom and therefore miss out on the actual getting married part.. these are moment you can’t unfortunately get back so if you getting married with little one’s or children who you think will struggle get in contact and I will be there to help and take any stress away without anyone having to miss out.. I’ve plenty of experience in this and will go through a plan for the day using all my tips and tricks..

👰‍♀️Yesterday’s wedding 🤵‍♂️

I had the best day looking after a little 22
month old for the bride and groom at yesterday’s wedding! These guys were over from living in Australia and had their wedding back home so her sister got in contact a while back which I thought was lovely knowing they didn’t want any of their family to have to miss out on this special day!

This one hit home, not only did we both marry someone with the same surname but we both got married with little girls who were the exact same age so I feel like I could totally relate to this one!
We did a meet up whilst they were home and went through a plan for the day which definitely paid off as everything went great! I stayed from the ceremony until the partying was over 💃

This family had thought of everything and had hired out teepees for the children, my homemade Playdough went down a treat too, I was able to assist with the usual feeding, changing and be around for when the photographs were taking place (it definitely helps to have someone in flats for this bit 😃) then off to bed while the partying went on and I updated everyone to let them know when she was asleep so they could relax and enjoy their night..

I must say tullyglass were a very good venue and they couldn’t have done enough for me and the bride and grooms little one.

Couldn’t agree more, this is the definition of woman supporting woman right here.. nanny cat is not only my friend but she was my wedding nanny and I can honestly say it was the best money we spent in regards to our wedding! Aslo we have worked together at weddings so if your lucky enough you might get us both 😂🤞

This is one of my beautiful brides Claire, she’s also a fellow wedding nanny and now friend 💜 is she my competition? Of course she is we’re in the same industry doing the same thing!

Am I in competition WITH her?? Absolutely not! Why?? Because although we have so many similar values, we are different and that’s a good thing 💜

Just like in life you click with different people, the wedding industry is the same! You will contact plenty of vendors while planning a wedding and some will just click 🥰 why? Because they are meant for you 💜

The wedding industry is full of amazing vendors who support each other to ensure YOU have the best day!! Always choose love and support over anything else, life is too short to do otherwise 💜

💒💍 Saturdays wedding 💍💒

I had a blast looking after these two beautiful children on Saturday night for the bride and the groom!! Such a lovely family 🥰

One of the children was easier to win round than the other on our first initial meeting 😂however the day of the wedding she came straight over to me and started playing with the toys I had brought and said thank you for bringing me toys!! (How cute is that🥰) this is why the meet ups beforehand are so so good and the reason I make sure it’s included in my package!! It clearly helps, I was no longer a complete stranger who she had never met before but immediately her wee friend who came to play with her who she had seen the week before!

Her and her sister enjoyed playing with the babies, jack in the box and made her mummy and daddy a card (how sweet) and we read stories they had picked out for bedtime.

There was a great area to play just up from the dance floor where they were able to run back and forth and I was under strict instructions by the children to not pack away any of my toys 😂😅

I helped out the children to bed and stayed in the room until the adults were done partying so no one had to miss out!

💖 Yesterdays wedding 💖

How beautiful is this photo? Such a gorgeous little family I had the pleasure of looking after for the bride and groom..

I came just before dinner until bedtime. I had a lovely big room in the venue I could use where my overpacked toys came in handy, the jack in the box was a clear winner with these little one’s!!

The children loved being outside so when the sun finally came out we went for an adventure and found a beach to throw rocks in the water where I think they would of stayed all day ☺️

What does Events nanny N.I involve?

They look after your little ones at events or weddings, they are another pair or hands, eyes and ears.

Other things they do is:

💍Keep them in routine
💍communicate with families
💍Assist with feeding/changing/nap times
💍Take them for walks
💍distract during ceremonies
💍Bring toys to keep them engaged
💍Assist with photographs
💍Dinner, bath, bed

Communication is key, so I will discuss what you would like me to do beforehand, however as you know children and plans don’t always go together so going with the flow is a must for the day.. hopefully you have a better understanding of what it is I do and if you would like to know anything else give me a message 😃

💒 Saturdays wedding at Magheramorne Estate where Arts and crafts and homemade Playdough went down a treat with the older and little ones..

I had the BEST day looking after 7 little one’s with another wedding nanny. This was 3 families from Australia, England and Scotland and they couldn’t have been more lovely, I honestly have the best job 🥰 and always come out excited for my next wedding to attend.. there is always such a happy atmosphere when love is in the air and it’s infectious ❤️

Magheramorne Estate had a small playroom where we set up some amazing toys that kept the little one’s entertained while the parents could enjoy socialising and not have to worry about the little one’s. I set up a WhatsApp group between the 3 family’s which worked really well and they were able to pop in and check on the little ones if they wanted.

We came for the reception and evening until all the partying was over, again communicating about when the children were asleep so the family’s could have peace of mind and enjoy their night knowing the children were settled.
