Ladies, (rant post) you really need to listen.
I've had another bride in tears this morning because another dressmaker has messed her dress up 3 weeks before her wedding. You have to do your research and check out the reviews on who you’re letting loose on your dresses. Why would you pay for the dress of a lifetime for your dream wedding and then take it to the wee lady next door???? You need a specialist bridal dressmaker. The wee lady who does trousers day in day out can't do your dress!!! (I will not touch clothing, some professional dressmakers will)
Please, please book your dressmaker in advance, even before your dress has been purchased so you get the job done right and you’re not running around 3 weeks before your wedding looking for another dressmaker to fix the mess someone else has done. Rant over 💕
