We are delighted to welcome Romaine to the team as Lead Floral Designer at EPIC. With over 15 years freelance floral experience, working closely with EPIC for a number of years now, it was the perfect fit to invite Romaine in-house to lead out existing floral design team. ⁠

My first 2024 workshop with the lovely folk in Salt Kitchen Banbridge. We’ll be making a gorgeous floral hatbox after you indulge in a twilight tea. We’re saying it’s a Mother’s Day treat but you know it’s for anyone special really….. your bestie, auntie, sister and the list goes on!!!!! Details below ⬇️

Mothers’ Day Hatbox Workshop – Thursday 7th March 2024 (6pm – 9pm)
With Mothers’ Day on Sunday 10th March, we would love to see you and your mum come along to enjoy our Salt Kitchen Twilight tea and floral hatbox workshop.
Each participant will create a stunning hat box arrangement using a selection of seasonal flowers and foliage. Romaine from Flowerworks will guide you through this fun and relaxed workshop so no experience is required as assistance is provided every step of the way!
All materials required for the design are included in the workshop along with some finishing touch accessories. It is preferable that you bring along your own scissors or secateurs to use on the evening.

Your arrival is welcome between 6 & 6.30pm to enjoy Twilight tea treats and drinks

Now it’s officially Spring!
Thursday 20th April 6.30 - 9pm
Come and join us for a fun and creative evening making a wildflower garden inspired wreath. Your evening will start with a glass of wine and selection of tapas lovingly prepared by the Salt Kitchen team. Romaine from Flowerworks will then demonstrate a traditional wreath making technique using a sustainable moss base after which it’s your turn to make your own statement piece with a selection of the freshest flowers and foliage.
All participants will be guided through this design from start to finish so no previous floristry experience is required. All flowers and foliage will be provided but we ask that everyone brings their own secateurs or floristry scissors.

Creative Flowers
Today we experimented with vessels, different shapes and sizes. Everyday containers were used to transform flowers into designs without the use of oasis foam. Take a look at some of the fab designs……. can you spot the spice jars reused and reinvented?
