look what we have been up to ...

There has been a noticeable increase in meeting and events keeping our corporate travel & events team busy.

There has been an increasing trend for domestic meetings and events rather than overseas with 90% of booking taking place in the UK.

Recently our clients have held meetings in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have arranged events including a treasure hunt in Cambridge, dinner at the Concorde Centre, Manchester, and a ghost walk in Stratford Upon Avon.

Coaches have been hired to take fans to rugby and football matches and we are in the process of organising a rocket launch for an engineering company.

Covid has had a major impact on most sectors of industry. Now that the UK and some other countries have eased restrictions, it is time to get your teams together.

So called "Freedom Day" has passed and I can tell you we have been inundated with Meeting and Events enquiries!

The only issue is getting availability. October and November 2021 are prime months with very few venues available especially for medium to large sized events.

It is great fun organising event for clients and over the years we have arranged many "quirky things" From time to time we shall post some of the odd things we have sorted for our clients starting with Dinner at Tower Bridge

There are a few areas set aside for dinners but my favourite has to be the West facing walkway. Suspended above the River Thames the views of London are stunning. As the sun sets over the Capital dinner is served. This venue works particularly well with a bit of entertainment. We have found a magician works particularly well and our "resident magician" Carl Royle Magician is an excellent choice with his unique "patter". You will be truly mesmerised by his tricks and the views. What a combination.

Over the years we have been arranging Meetings and Events for big and small companies throughout the world. From small interview style meetings up to large conference for 1000's we have been there for our clients.

Dinners under the wings of a Concorde or up on top of the Sears Tower in Chicago, team building events including a magic workshops (ideal for sales teams), ghost hunts, sheep dog trials and whiskey tasting. We have taken groups to find the Loch Ness Monster (not much success on that one but great fun) and have even chartered trains for a self defence club wishing to practice in a confined space.

So, as you can imagine over the last 30 years we have made the right contacts in the right places and bring this wealth of knowledge to our clients.
