Not another wreath....

I'm nearly done! But this was a special one for my first bride of the year , and her sister who are this year sharing a door for Christmas. Last year they made a wreath each at a workshop, but unable to make a date this December, I've been happily tasked with creating something full of colour and texture to share. 🥰

I was understandably excited at the opportunity to use my favourite colour in this wreath commissioned by Fired Earth!

The stunning front door is painted in 'Hesper' and the ribbons (pieces of velvet and silk I've held onto for a long time awaiting the right purpose) were a close match for the 'Taos' hue on the home decor company's moodboard.

Hugest of thanks to the talented duo and lovely people that are and for capturing my first HQ workshop on Saturday 🙌

We had such fun with a group of new and experienced makers, and the resulting wreaths were as always stunningly unique.

If you're itching to get your hands on some festive ingredients AND refreshments to kickstart that , I have the following spaces available:

🌿Wed 4 Dec 10am-1pm: definitely 2 places, maybe more!
🌿Sat 7 Dec 10am-1pm: 4 places
🌿Sun 8 Dec 2.30-5.30pm: up to 6 places, preferably for a pair, a trio or a foursome as I already have a gang coming together!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....
Am I late to that announcement after yesterday's snow?!
I've been MIA for a while, busy behind the scenes with prep, and just with life.
Enforced wfh this week due to some windows being replaced (yes, great timing with the freezing weather 🥶!) I've cracked on with some mini dried wreaths.
I've been making these for a few years, using a gorgeous collection of dried materials including my fave Strawflowers - the ones I hoard throughout the year because I can't bear to sell!

One is for a local charity raffle prize, the rest are available...
Mounted on a presentation board made from upcycled materials, these make great gifts.
Happy to take commisions for different colours and sizes in time for Christmas.

I very rarely make up larger bouquets without an order, but putting together some posies just now, this combination was not only calling, but screaming at me!
