I’ve had a few new followers here on Facebook since my account was shared locally, so I thought I should maybe show the face behind the account and introduce myself a wee bit. My name’s Annabel, and I’m 21. Some people may recognise my face as I’ve lived here all my life! Aside from this new hobby/business, I’m a keen baker and share my bakes on Instagram 🍰. I occasionally make celebration cakes for those I’m closest to and would one day LOVE to have my own baking business of some sort - I don’t have the facilities to right now (I’ve tried tirelessly to convince my Dad to let me convert the garage into a kitchen, but no luck🤣). I have however, turned the spare room into a place to store my seaglass and all the tools that come with it🙌🏼

I’ve always enjoyed making and selling. In primary school my sister, neighbour and I made crafts and bakes and went around our street selling our goods on numerous occasions - sometimes for charity, sometimes to put the money towards a new frisbee🤣. I made and sold elastic band bracelets at one point in primary school and made £80 which was mind blowing (and hard work… and probably not allowed!). I didn’t intend to turn this into a “business”, I just had lots of pretty pieces of seaglass and wanted to make use of them, and so made my first pendant. I loved the finished piece and immediately wanted to make more, the only issue being that there are only so many necklaces one girl can wear! My best option was to share them and hopefully other people might like them too🤍 I can confirm the jewellery and bakes I make now are of slightly higher quality than that of when I was 10🙌🏼
