Our front plaza has been restored to normal with the Christmas tree FINALLY being removed. Thank you Councillor Jennifer Gilmour for resolving it for us.

We are lobbying council for a dynamic LED tree for this site as an investment for the future and to be more sustainable.

Morning everyone - it's a cold one out there! Due to illness we now have a couple of spaces free on our Heritage Research Skills trip to PRONI (Public Records Office NI) this afternoon, leaving from The Old Market House at 1.00pm. The trip is free and travel to and from PRONI is included.

PRONI is located in a stunning building in Belfast's Titanic Quarter and is a fascinating treasure trove of information about Northern Ireland and local history. It's a brilliant place to start your research into your family history.

If you would like to come along today please email [email protected] by 12.00pm today. You will need to be at The Old Market House by 1pm to go on the trip - we will be back in Bangor by c5pm.
