Gather round and come and listen to traditional Gwynedd stories and legends, told by Tamar Eluned Williams and the Dragon Storytellers. The ancient tales of Barmouth and Wales will be brought to life at the Dragonโ€™s seventh Welsh Whisperers event. You will hear about magical events, kings and queens, lands lost to the sea and much, much more.

Tamar: I tell stories in Welsh and English and sometimes a bit of both. My repertoire consists mostly of Welsh myths, legends, and folktales, as well as stories from the wider Celtic, British, and European mythologies and folklores. I work with these stories in lots of different ways: telling them from memory in schools, festivals, museums and theatres, creating new shows for adult and family audiences, running storytelling workshops, and writing and directing for theatre.

This is the seventh of a year of monthly storytelling events both for adults and for children, with other storytellers joining our Dragon Storytellers in recounting the captivating tales of our beautiful country. The project is funded through one of Menter Mรดn's programmes, Grymuso Gwynedd, which has been funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with financial support also from Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

Tamar: Dwi'n adrodd straeon yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg ac weithiau ychydig o'r ddau. Mae fy straeon yn cynnwys mythau a chwedlau o Gymru, yn ogystal รข straeon, chwedla, a llรชn gwerin o'r byd Celtaidd, Prydeinig ac Ewropeaidd. Rwy'n gweithio gyda'r straeon hyn mewn llawer o wahanol ffyrdd: eu hadrodd o'r cof mewn ysgolion, gwyliau, amgueddfeydd a theatrau, creu sioeau newydd ar gyfer oedolion a theuluoedd, cynnal gweithdai adrodd straeon, ac ysgrifennu a chyfarwyddo ar gyfer y theatr.

Dymaโ€™r seithfed o flwyddyn o ddigwyddiadau adrodd straeon misol i oedolion ac i blant, gyda storรฏwyr eraill yn ymuno รขโ€™n Storรฏwyr y Ddraig i adrodd hanesion hudolus ein gwlad brydferth.
