Dave started his career as a keyboard vocalist working throughout the U.K.
He Appeared on ‘New Faces’ in 1988 and has sang in all types of venues, even featuring as a male vocal guest on The Krankies Show for a season at the Gaiety Theatre, Ayr in 1991 and the following year alongside Keith Harris, and then the Nolan Sisters!
He has featured in variety at The Pavilion, Glasgow and The Kings, Edinburgh and is
One of the Best Male Vocals from the North East!
After a short stint in a duo, Dave formed and became the driving force of a sensational 4 piece – "Groove Club".
The band was voted 'Best North East Group' by the Northern Clubs Association and topped the bill at Blackpool's Central Club for three consecutive years.
During this time Dave and the lovely Sarah Abbott (The ever present girl in the band) also presented a great duo whenever the band was not working.
Latterly Groove Club disbanded and Dave has gone back to his solo status (And still topped the bill in Blackpool in 2004 & 2005) allowing his powerful vocal performance and stage presence to state his case as one of the top pros on the circuit.
