Northern Costume Hire A theatrical costume hire based in Barnoldswick, we do also hire costumes to the general public.

Northern Costume Hire was established in 1984 in the rural town of Skipton, North Yorkshire. Beginning life as a fancy dress shop, it has grown into one of the largest theatrical costumiers in the country. We provide costumes both for amateur and professional theatre, televisions, schools and colleges, and individual hire.

Individual Hire from Northern Costume Hire:

- We have over 25,000 theatrical costumes of all periods available for hire. Please note, we no longer hire or have fancy dress to buy.

- We require approx. 48 - 72 hours notice for any costume requests (especially during October - June as this is when we are typically very busy).

- When inquiring, we require the following measurements in inches:

Ladies - Height, Bust (not bra size, Waist and Hips
Gents - Height, Chest, Waist, Inside Leg and Collar
