Today we come together to remember Barry 'Bronc' Brotherton, a man whose life was as colourful, bold, and unapologetic as the town he was born and raised in. Bronc entered this world on the 16th of September, 1938, in Kendray, on Croft Road, and, fittingly, it was there that he took his final breath on the 11th of September, 2024. His story is one of toughness, resilience, and, most of all, a life lived on his own terms....
