Are you looking for the best wines with the best value for money? The has just released its “Berebene 2023” and one of our most popular wines from has been listed.

Created in 1992 with the intention of breaking away from the framework of traditional wines. Made with grapes this stunning is bright, pale yellow with glimmers of gold. On the nose it’s intense and persistent with floral/citrus/almond scents. It’s super fresh and smooth with a wonderful clear almond recall.

It’s with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, and wine manager, Massimo Rotoloni, known to us as Max.

I have known Max since 1998. Max had a prolific career in the world of wine, both in the U.K. and across the world.

Max had many friends within the wine industry and coupled that with a tremendous knowledge/passion for the industry.

He joined Delitalia in 2015 as wine manager and curated a modern, progressive wine list that showed the best of modern and classic Italian wines. Not only did he achieve this, but he also helped us forge incredible relationships with wine producers across Italy that last to this day and will be one of his legacies.

He always said Delitalia would be his last job and would stay with us as long as possible.

Yesterday was an incredibly sad day for the team on hearing of his passing, however he will be in all our hearts forever.

I’m sure he will be organising the wines in heaven whilst watching over us all here, making sure we maintain his passion for fantastic wines and their potential to be served across the U.K.

We are going to miss you so much Max
