Wombwell Operatic Society

Wombwell Operatic Society An amateur theatre company based in Wombwell on the outskirts of Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

We produce five main shows per year including a family pantomime and a junior production which features local youngsters up to the age of sixteen. We hold rehearsals on a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm- 10.00pm and welcome anybody who has an interest in appearing on stage, building sets, rigging and operating lighting and everything in between. No matter what your interest, everyone of any age is welcome to come along and get involved.

November is a busy month for the Wombwell Operatic Society with "The Addams Family" running 20th to 23rd November, and just a week after we have our annual Christmas Coffee Morning - on Saturday 30th November 10am to 1pm - see poster for details.
