Just when you thought our first show at Staincross Club couldn’t get any better we are really excited to be able to announce that local legend Neil Diamondo will be joining K**a Promotions as the Special Judge for our kids Halloween Fancy Dress Competition.

Neil will be bringing his own brand of entertainment into the ring and will most likely create a “moment” you won’t want to miss.

We want as much fun as possible and for everyone to get in the spirit so kids who come in fancy dress will get in for FREE* (*1 free child ticket per group, door staff discretion on what classes as fancy dress)

Just over a month until our first show in Mapplewell. We have just had the flyers delivered and we are going to be out pounding the pavements distributing these in the next weeks around the area and doing another round of posters.

British wrestling legend and World of Sport veteran Tiger McGuigan won an 8 man gauntlet match last month at New British Promotions to become the new Barnsley Wrestling Champion.

On 25th October Tiger will be at Staincross Club to find out who his first challenger will be when K**a Promotions host an 8 man one night tournament for the number one contender spot.

Now we have all the 1st round matches set for the Barnsley Wrestling Championship Number One Contender Tournament we can start to do some speculation as to who could be in the semi-finals and the final on 25th October in Mapplewell.

The 2 sides of the tournament brackets will be randomly decided the week before the event so there are still so many potential amazing match possibilities that could happen as people advance.

Could we see a preview of Mikey Andrews and Tommy Rocker just before their title confrontation in British Wrestling Federation?

What about Giant vs. Giant Killer? if Shawwal The Great and Young Horus both win their first round match?

And what about the Wildcard? Who is Mr Lee bringing to Staincross Club? Could it be another Project Mayhem member?

So many questions. We can’t wait to see you there and let the answers present themselves.

It may be the last 1st round match we are announcing in the tournament for the Barnsley Wrestling Championship at Staincross Club but it could very well be the pick of the night and it is quite literally a match of mythical proportions between these two amazing athletes. We have Young Horus (Young Horus), the Pharaoh of British Wrestling squaring off with Radu Bulat (Radu Bulat), Mr Vampire.

Horus has made his intentions very clear about wanting to take the power that comes with holding a championship to expand his empire and has already begun to ‘target’ the Barnsley Champion Tiger McGuigan on his social media.

We admire the ambition and the confidence of the Egyptian Giant Killer but Mr Vampire is looking to get his fangs on the champion and is looking for fresh blood.

Here is another 1st round match up in the Barnsley Wrestling Championship Number One Contender Tournament, and it’s another with some history behind it.

As the enforcer of Project Mayhem, Shawwal The Great has been a thorn in the side of Tommy Rocker for quite some time over in New British Promotions and although the two have never stepped in the ring together officially there has been no shortage of physicality between them.

A champion many times over and the physique of a super hero mean it’s not very often Tommy Rocker goes into a match where he is not the odds on favourite but there are not many men on the British scene with the sheer size and dominating raw power of The Great Shawwal.

This is going to be a very interesting and heated encounter and with all members of Project Mayhem (including Mr Lee) banned from ringside we are going to find out if the giant enforcer can step out on his own or if Tommy can get a measure of revenge.

We had a look around the new Barnsley Civic yesterday at the grand re-opening. It’s been a while since there has been wrestling in this historic venue. Here is our next mega match announcement in the Barnsley Wrestling Championship Number One Contender tournament for 25th October.

‘The Brawler’ Mikey Andrews vs. ‘Juggernaut’ Jon Allens.

There is no love lost between these two rough and ready smash mouth competitors. ‘The Brawler’ is the current British Wrestling Federation champion, a title he won from ‘The Juggernaut’ earlier this year.

And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention Mikey Andrews nearly 2 year long feud with Mapplewell native Mr Lee that has spread across multiple counties and wrestling promotions. Mr Lee vowed that Mikey would never have a chance to win the Barnsley Championship and has been in the corner of Jon Allens on more than one occasion.

Expect this to be a hard hitting fight with neither man giving quarters.

After some very heated discussions we can now confirm Mr Lee Wrestling will NOT be competing in the tournament to find the new number one contender for the Barnsley Wrestling Championship on October 25th at Staincross Club

However Mr Lee will be selecting the Wildcard entrant and will be in their corner when they face Aidan Sparx in the first round. Mr Lee cannot choose himself and if for any reason his Wildcard cannot compete K**a Promotions managment will select a substitute NOT Mr Lee.

Since Mr Lee likes to bully his way into the mix his Wildcards opponent will be a man who has a reputation for standing up to bullies ‘Fiery’ Aidan Sparx

K**a Promotions extended an invite to the host of the The Nerdic Pro Podcast Bobby SalaStar live on 30th August episode of their show and we can now confirm that Bobby will officially be the Special Guest Host when we come to Staincross Club on October 25th.

Bobby has worked for numerous promotions across the UK scene as a referee, ring announcer, general manager and enforcer as well as hosting over 140 live episodes of the cult wrestling Podcast where he made his name.

K**a Promotions are looking forward to welcoming Bobby Salazar to Barnsley.
