Our accommodation is also available for holiday lets. The Westcott Barton Farmhouse is a Grade II listed Devon longhouse full of character and charm which, with equally as endearing ancillary accommodation across a cobblestone court yard can sleep up to 22 people there is also the cottage which is perfect for smaller holiday bookings sleeping from 2 - 6 people. Our Story

At Westcott Barton there is a sense of stepping out of one world into another which is less complicated, more tranquil. Although only 7 miles from north of Barnstaple, and a short drive from many of Britain's best beaches, we are wonderfully remote.

There has been a homestead at Westcott Saxon times; it is mentioned in the Domesday Book and was the home of the Chichester family during the 17th century.

The main farmhouse building is a Grade II listed Devon longhouse. There are number of old stone barns are arranged around the farm house, some of which have been developed to offer ancillary accommodation to the Farmhouse. Across the courtyard from the farm house is also The Cottage a self contained holiday home.

The beautiful gardens are traditional and formal, but once outside the garden gate the valley follows the meandering stream through ponds, ancient tracks, woodland and hilly pastures.
