SUITCASE A one-day Festival of Stories

An exciting one day festival of oral tradition storytelling, bringing the best of local and national talent to North Devon.

Workshops and performances for the beginner, the expert, the old and the young and everyone in between, including a heart-stopping headline performance by world renowned storyteller, Daniel Morden supported by Suited Storytellers

So wherever you are on your storytelling journey - teller or listener - there’ll be something in this SUITCASE for you.

Full details of all workshops and performances here: https://www.theploughartscentre.org.uk/whats-on/search?keys=suitcase

We are at that exciting part of rehearsals, where you have been working with a story for a while and you suddenly realise the story is about something else entirely. I love those moments when you go 'Oh yes! Of course' and then have to change about a third of what you've created!!
Come and see the final results on 15th November. We will be supporting the wonderful Daniel Morden as part of SUITCASE, one day storytelling festival at St Anne's Art and Community Centre, Barnstaple. Funded by the Arts Council, England.

*Cacao is a delicious, raw chocolate drink associated with the divine feminine and known as ‘the food of the gods’ with ceremonial origins dating back thousands of years in south and Central America. Tales are told of her being sent out to the western world to open the hearts of the people so that we may listen to earth and embody love.

Cacao can support us in tending to our heart space, ground our energy and activate bliss and love within ourselves. She gently shows us the portal to our heart, to our truth and helps facilitate emotional healing.
