St Anne's is set in a green, pedestrianized oasis in the very heart of Barnstaple; a Gothic building in miniature, charming and unassuming, in the middle of the Parish Church cemetery. Anne’s is one example of an extraordinary group of historic buildings concentrated in between Barnstaple’s two main shopping streets. ic events, regular arts & crafts workshops, residencies, classes and community projects through out the year. With a capacity of 60 and everything you would expect from a modern venue it offers a unique opportunity to make your event or workshop very special.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who run Fringe TheatreFest and their amazing organisational skills in making the festival run smoothly...not a easy task! 🙌
St Anne's were thrilled to be a part of this amazing festival again this year, the building was buzzing with wonderful performances, appreciative festival attendees and Fringe HQ downstairs. 😍
Don't forget our NEW 'Plough Playwright Café' starts this Tuesday 6.30pm-8.30pm.
Join our welcoming monthly meet-up for playwrights and aspiring writers.
Each session offers fun and stimulating writing exercises, the chance to share your work in table reads, and constructive group feedback.
Whether you're developing a new script or just starting out, come along for a creative boost and a chat - teas, coffees, and cake provided!

Suitable for adults and older children 14+. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
