One week ago, North Devon Unesco Biosphere hosted their North Devon Biosphere Marine Forum at St Anne’s Arts and Community Centre 🌊🐋

Hannah from the Biosphere led insightful workshops and discussions, exploring past, present, and future marine conservation projects in North Devon. It was a fantastic event, bringing together a great crowd to share knowledge and ideas.

This week is a cake and craft session and we’ll be using essential oils to make some bug busting wax melts to banish the winter bugs!

There are some really powerful bug busting essential oils that have potent anti bacterial and anti viral properties that help clear the air of bugs and germs and some are great decongestants.

Join us and explore the oils and make a few melts to get you through the rest of the winter

🎭 Exciting news! After last year's success at Fringe Extra, we’re thrilled to bring back our February Play-in-a-Week with local author Tanya Landman's 'The Battle of Cable Street! 🌟

This year, young people (11-18) will dive into the dramatic events of 1930s London, exploring the rise of fascism, the power of community, and the iconic Battle of Cable Street. Together, we'll create a powerful piece of theatre in just one week!

📅 Dates:
Mon 17th - Wed 19th Feb: 11am-5pm
Fri 21st Feb: 1pm-5pm, public performance at 4pm @ The Plough@St Anne's, Barnstaple.

JANUARY RUNE WORKSHOP
The ancient oracle of the runes is something of a mystery. The Elder Futhark is at least 2,000 years old, and YOU can learn about their meanings and how to read them in my BEGINNERS rune workshop on Thursday 30th January.
The cost is £25 which includes a practice set of runes for you to take home and continue your spiritual nordic journey. By the end of the evening, you will be able to read the runes, and know how to cast them. You will be given full instructions.
If you are interested, the venue is ST ANNE'S CHAPEL, in Barnstaple (behind the main church in town) and the time is 7pm until 9.30pm.
