History of Ashton Bowron Photography

Ashton Bowron Photography was born after finishing university studying ‘Computer Animation.’ With a love for designing characters and being around people, I knew I had to have a job that involved both; being creative digitally & working with people. So I left the computer animation path and started down the road of digital photography.

I took my photography hobby (mostly photographing my German Shepherd dog) to applying for work experience at the local newspaper - The Evening Mail. I LOVED it. I loved meeting new people of different backgrounds, seeing what they are all about and catching them in the best light. BUT as a press photographer, that is only half the job. You also have to photograph the negative news... that part was absolutely not for me.

My truest belief stands with encouraging people to be their best.

Photographing them in the wrong (or photographing a problem with no solution) does nothing for inspiration at all. It’s like saying ‘well life ends here’... when it absolutely doesn’t.
