NYLO (Nutrition for Your Little One) is a free programme for families with children aged 5 and under. Across eight sessions you will get lots of tips and ideas on a healthy, balanced diet for young children, portion sizes, healthy snacks, tips to manage fussy eating and ways to increase activity.

Our upcoming groups are:

Castleland Community Centre, Barry
Wed 10th January – 6th March 2024 (no session 14th Feb)
9.30-11.30am

We run lots of groups across Cardiff and Vale regularly, so if the above don't suit, please do get in touch with us for more information.

Elderfit’s group sessions are designed to improve your strength and balance.

Our group sessions cater for all abilities and everyone is welcome. Enjoy the camaraderie of a group session and meet like-minded people, improve your fitness and health, all whilst having fun.

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our friend, trustee and Friendly Bingo Club runner Audrey Jackson who passed away Monday surrounded by family.

Audrey was a long running contributor in many ways to how Castleland developed over the years and was always willing to help us out whenever we needed it. We're going to miss her.

We'd love for anyone who knew her to leave a comment remembering Audrey if you would like. We've written a small tribute to her on our site to recognise what a lovely person she was.

Due to large donations of food, we are looking for volunteers this Tuesday, 14th November anytime between 1 to 4pm to help date, sort and bag up pet food. We are grateful for any time you have spare and parking is available directly by the unit.

Effective immediately (starting tomorrow) we will be operating a new permanent time for of 1:30pm to 3:00pm (approx.) based on feedback from attendees and other factors.

Additionally, starting from November 1st, our times will also change to 1:00pm to 3:00pm. In addition to this will also have to start charging for hot drinks.
