Ok, so just before Xmas we created a little Castleland jingle using free tools online for the "Love the Vale" campaign on Bro Radio 🎄 .

😔 Sadly, it wasn't allowed on air so we had this jingle just sitting there doing nothing and so we decided to make a video to go with it over Xmas 'cos we were bored.

The NHS backed cooking initiative Get Cooking has been running in Castleland for a few years now and is a great way to learn about new recipes and cooking skills, earn Agored credits and meet new people. 😄

Sessions are lighthearted and fun and you get to take home some free tasty food. 🥧

They are currently running Thursdays at 12:30pm in Castleland, but are also available at other venues in the Vale.

As usual ☕ opens from 1pm so you can take your tickets, and the food will be accessible at 1:30pm.

I have a new class starting asap!
Small group singing classes on a Saturday morning in Barry.

With small group singing your child gets the chance to have enough focus on them that they develop their singing skills but also their ability to harmonies which develops their general music skills. Perhaps more importantly they get to experience singing in a group which is, in my experience, one of the most fantasic, calming, uplifting experiences!

I have currently put 8 to 17 but if anyone younger is interested PM aswell as I can add classes where they fit with peoples availabilty

Classes are £10 per session for an hour with sibling discounts

Recycling with Vale of Glamorgan Council

All your leftovers including vegetable peelings and turkey carcasses can go in your food waste bin. Christmas cards and cardboard without glitter can be recycled.
Please do not include any wrapping paper in your recycling bags or boxes. All wrapping paper should be placed in your black bag.
Unfortunately, they are unable to collect fairy lights, sticky tape, bows, tinsel/decorations and polystyrene.
