Both outfits were about 2/3 sizes too big so had to be resized to fit.

2025 diary is now open!

I've had quite a few cancellations due to unforseen circumstances this year, whilst this can't be helped its put a strain on me to figure out wedding dates and available slots in my diary and have lost out on a number of occasions. I work on wedding date basis and can only take on a set number of dresses for each wedding date.

I've now decided to compensate my time, for admin, quotes and fittings there will be a £30 booking fee. (This is non refundable)

One of the more trickier alterations I completed at the end of last year. When a dress is 2/3 sizes too big, has see through "v" panels on the sides and front and an open back - where do you take the dress in from to make it fit??

Had to get creative with this alteration and take most of the excess from the back panels. A lot of work was involved - having to remove all the lace and beadwork before sewing to avoid damaging the dress and my machine. Sides, hips and shoulders were also taken in.

DO go to a bridal alteration specialist, DO make room in your budget for alterations, and DONT leave it until last minute to book in with a seamstress 😀

I get so many brides who have second thoughts about this as the wedding gets closer, usually because of fears of what Nan might say or a bit too revealing for a church wedding and that's totally OK, I've got your back and know exactly what to do 🥰

February finally!

Is it just me or did January feel like a year!!

It's been a slow start to the year and have welcomed the break if I'm honest! Next week there's lots of second fittings and new brides coming for their 1st fittings and from then on brides coming and going every week until November 😀

I still have some availability for November and lots of space for December brides so get in touch to book in!

First Post of 2024!

OK I know I'm a bit late to the party but I've been enjoying some well earned time off and away from my socials, but as of today I'm back 😊

I've been so busy catching up on admin (there's been so many emails since Christmas) and doing the dreaded tax return, that I only sorted my sewing room out yesterday and cleaned the last of the 2023 brides cotton and beads off the carpet 😆.

So the first post goes to the lovely Rachel who go married around Christmas, congratulations to you both!
