The Assembly Rooms Hire for Weddings / Christenings & Birthdays, etc. The Assembly Rooms is an historic building located in the centre of town. The Assembly Rooms can accommodate.

Used by the local community for fitness, health & well being, with live music and the most amazing professional live performances of contemporary dance and theatre (through rural touring initiatives). The ground floor is comprised of office & meeting space, a kitchen and access to a mobility lift to the main hall. The first floor main hall has a capacity of 100-150 people with a sprung dance floor

, balcony and bar. The building was leased to Community, Heritage, Arts and Media Project (CHAMP), a local charitable trust, in 2011. Since then it has undergone a number of improvements including provision for disability access to the first floor, the heating & ventilation system, the toilets, carpets and the bar refurbished. The building currently acts as a hub for the local community with regular sessions including karate, yoga and meditation. Alongside a young performers musical theatre group, our performance arts offer includes professional live performance of contemporary dance and theatre to talks on local history and other interesting subjects. It is becoming a preferred venue for many family celebrations with the flexibility to meet the occasion. Whether its, live music, disco, karaoke, dance, comedy, theatre, discussion.
