Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Where has my baby gone!? This gorgeous boy is who made me a mummy nearly 6 years ago, still helping me with my flowers 🥰

Thank you for all your orders and for dropping by at .co.uk for my floral pop up this weekend 💐 it’s been a beautiful few days indeed.

Grab yourself a bargain at Laura’s for the last few arrangements on sale this week, or get ready for spring with some beautiful planters.

In loving memory…

I don’t often share funeral tributes here. I’m not sure why exactly - maybe so not to ‘dampen the mood’? Or because it feels incredibly private? But actually, it is honestly one of the most beautiful parts of my job. And such an honour. I genuinely feel privileged to create the last gift a person will receive. And to celebrate the life they represent.

Funeral flowers are a reflection of and tribute to
the person they’re in memory of.

A focal point to enable contemplation, emotional respite, a moment of peace.

A talking point for when conversation is really hard.

A comforting beauty and symbol of hope and new life.

What I offer is a little different, I don’t have books of options, it’s a conversation.
If you’re looking for an arrangement that really reflects your loved one, that’s personal and special, I’d love to help.

I’m constantly learning and working on becoming more sustainable within my business. As part of this, I no longer use floral foam to construct displays as this is a single use plastic. Instead, I use several different more environmentally friendly mechanics depending on what the display requires such as wool fibre, moss, chicken wire. I try to use locally grown whenever possible.

I carefully select and curate my stock especially for each booking, and therefore usually require a bit more notice to complete orders. So if you’d like a display from me for your loved ones farewell, please don’t leave it too close to the day to get in touch.

Thank you for putting your trust in me for these ever so special arrangements xx

today’s prompt is ‘Decision’
You decide… Let’s play would you rather!
ALL the colour, or cool monotone?
Epic fireplace, or luxe arch?
Elegant round, or asymmetric drama?
Meadow all around, or meadow in the sky?
And lastly, but very importantly - disco balls, or dinosaurs?
And please don’t make me choose - I thoroughly loved creating ALL of these and at this point as an exhausted mum of 2 little people I don’t have much capacity for decision making 🤪😂
Xx

Hi! I’m Steph, Rabbit and the Rose is my floral business and wedding flowers are my speciality…
It’s still March the 3rd (just about!) so the first instalment of with thanks to
Today’s prompt is ‘Brand Re-introduction’
I set up Rabbit and the Rose in 2017, 8 years ago!? Can’t believe it! And an awful lot has happened in that time. I’d really love to do a bit of a long overdue brand refresh as i think brands evolve, I certainly have, so instead of talking about my ‘branding’, i think i’ll just let the flowers do the talking.
I had my second child 1.5 years ago so I thought I’d share a few of my weddings since little Felicity came along, that i think demonstrate a bit of me! And these are a LOT of me… Romantic, joyful, textural, colourful and full of love 💕
Thank you to;
Olivia and Ryan 🌸
Fenella and Patrick 🌹
Kate and Callum 🍉
Will and Ella 🌾
Nicole and Conor 🎃

It really is such a privilege to provide flowers for so many couples weddings. I’m so full of gratitude that this is still my job. And that i’m full of just as much excitement for the weddings yet to come!

Last photo is a very tired (possibly delirious) me with 3 week old Felicity, working on Liv and Ryan’s wedding. Yes I’m a little bonkers…

Autumn *drama* for the most gorgeous of brides. Lovely Fen, your bouquet was truly a privilege to make. Thank you for allowing me to be as creative as I like. Your whole wedding was a work of art from start to finish.

Note to all future autumn weddings - you are not restricted to orange and brown. Sure if you love the classic palette fill your boots, but remember autumn is rich with so many colours, textures and moods. Xx

captures the theatre of this wedding just perfectly 👌🏼 ✨ 🥀
