This beautiful piece is an antique Geisha headrest. They were made for the Geishas when they needed to rest without disturbing their elaborate hairdo’s. A really beautiful statement piece for your home and a real talking piece too. Feel free to pop into the shop this weekend and have a look at it. Looking for a way to easily decorate your aisle yourself (or with a little help from your friends or even the venue!) then this is a really simple idea with stunning results. You might have to hire the aisle carpet (around £60-£90 depending on length needed although you can buy more disposable type runners online) or you can just use petals (real or faux) to make an aisle edge. Start with hurricane lamps with pillar candles or any sort of lanterns or oversized jars (check out places like Ikea, The Range or even DIY stores to grab lanterns at summer sale prices) or hire them cheaply (from about £8 each), add some little tealights in glass votives or recycled jars or even dessert dishes, then buy a bunch of ‘ruscus’ or greenery from somewhere like or or use greenery foraged from the garden (ivy works well). Potted herbs can replace the greenery or even potted white flowers would look amazing. To reduce the cost you can decorate every second row rather than each row. Stain or paint the little easels, stain the log slices and use a Posca paint pen to draw on table numbers or names (if you’re not sure about doing it freehand then use a stencil or the good old tracing paper and pencil method) and you have some very lovely and budget friendly table numbers! Looking for a bit of a wow factor for your wedding venue entrance but flower arches aren’t really your thing, then how about our tall faux evergreen trees. Available in a range of different pots and at over 6ft tall they make quite a statement. At night we’ll switch on the warm white fairylights to add some magic. You can hire just two trees or as many as you like. They look just as great indoors or out and can be moved around your venue so you can use them for your ceremony as well as your reception and are perfect for a twinkly foliage filled wedding vibe 🌱🪴🌟 www.extremelylovely.co.uk

Want a centrepiece you can easily recreate yourselves? Of course you can hire pieces from us or get all these items secondhand from wedding websites or find budget friendly pieces online or in places like The Range or B&M. Choose a lantern (or hurricane lamp) for the central piece then surround with either faux or real greenery, print up a simple table number on card (and go over the number with a gold paint pen) and find a pretty memorable/photo holder to pop it into and surround with little votive candles and you have a beautifully stylish centrepiece. Of course you could switch this up by adding faux or real roses or flowers amongst the greenery. Make the lanterns do double duty and use them to line your aisle then have your venue transfer them to the centre of your tables for your reception. If you’d like to know more then comment below. A simple but pretty arch to welcome Kayleigh and Alex’s guests into the tithe barn at Ufton Court with dusky pink and ivory roses to tie in with the bridal party flowers all on a lovely foliage base. We always add fairylights too so that it still makes a statement in the evening. Our arch can also be used inside as a backdrop to your ceremony then moved to become a backdrop for your top table. We create the arch from scratch for each wedding depending on the look our couple want to create and have lots of different options to suit different budgets rather than a one size fits all approach. From all faux to a mixture of real and faux flowers and greenery plus any colour flowers you like, it really is a fabulous showpiece to hire for your wedding and something which gives you a lot of bang for your buck. My favourite way to style the entrance tables at Ufton Court is to not have them covered in a tablecloth but leave them rustic. Adding a runner and lots of fresh greenery and candles makes for a very stylish and welcoming cake table and a little group of family photos makes it personal. Every arch we create for a wedding is unique and this is one of my favourites to date in one of my favourite venues for one of my favourite couples ❤️- soft ruscus, eucalyptus and olive stems finished with a mix of peachy ‘pearl avalanche’ roses & gorgeous faux white roses gave the arch the wispy, romantic look our bride was after. Here the arch has been moved to act as a backdrop for the top table having served as a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony. We were treated to a sneaky peak of the photos from the fabulous who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on a few occasions now and just had to share! The sun was streaming into the barn this morning at Ufton Court (hence my hazy photos!) and there was a real buzz as a mix of suppliers created a beautiful wedding setup for today’s lovely couple. We created an arch with both faux & real greenery and flowers topped with twinkly fairylights which looks so pretty as a ceremony backdrop and will then be moved to behind the top table as a backdrop to the bride and groom for their speeches and wedding breakfast. We made bunches of gypsophila and tied them to the aisle chairs to add a little something special to the ceremony (and really easy on the budget) and added one to each of the ceremony chairs. To create a nice welcome at the entrance of the barn for guests as they arrive, we installed two 7ft cherry blossom trees (also with fairylights which will look so good when the sun goes down). The cute welcome sign is from and the gorgeous lighting is from the fabulous . No doubt with looking after them all and the brilliant team ensuring it all runs smoothly, the happy couple are going to have a fabulous day ❤️ , www.extremely lovely.co.uk

Congrats to Emma & Ollie who had a fabulously relaxed wedding at yesterday. When I met Emma and Ollie they were looking for a venue where they could have a very chilled out wedding day doing their own thing so when they came up to see me at the Ufton Court wedding fayre last year they fell in love with the place. It proved to be the perfect choice of venue and we helped them create a gorgeous wedding filled with olive stems, peachy roses, and floaty fabrics. The cake was made by the bride’s clever Mum and the food from was as delicious as always i hear! Here’s an easy DIY centrepiece - potted plants with candlelight. Whether you keep it simple with just greenery or go for pots of colourful flowering plants, it’s the perfect DIY centrepiece as you can do them ahead of time. Find yourself some jars for the candles (you’ll find some great patterned jars in the supermarket where it’s cheaper than buying a new jar) and make a simple table name or number out of a piece of wood and some chalkboard paint or add a printed card version. If you can’t find yourself a logslice then hire them (cheaper than buying) or use a round rattan placemat for the same rustic feel. If you have to buy the terracotta pots then age them with a bit of paint or soil (plenty of tutorials on YouTube) and you have a gorgeous centrepiece that will look equally as stunning on a white tablecloth as it would on a rustic wooden table www.extremely lovely.co.uk

To help our couples come up with a centrepiece design we’re happy to do mock-ups so you know exactly how it will look on the day. For this centrepiece, our couple knew they wanted Cadbury purple roses & (originally) floating candles but asked us for some inspiration - so these are a few designs we came up with & they ended up falling in love with the second design which was quite different to what they first had in mind. Greenery attached to some hula hoops to decorate the wall behind the cake table and a swag of matching greenery to decorate a homemade cake decorated with fresh fruit. Simple but stunning. Sadly we won’t be at Ufton Court’s wedding fayre this coming Sunday (5th March) which is going to feel very strange as it’s the only wedding fayre we have done for the past I don’t know how many years but it’s definitely one not to be missed if you’re planning a wedding or still on the hunt for that perfect venue. Always a great atmosphere and the Ufton team and suppliers are all fabulous. This is a beautiful example of a DIY wedding where we came up with simple yet very stylish designs for our couple using copper lanterns, candles and eucalyptus and produced an illustrated plan and instructions to go with all the items so that our bride and groom could put it all together on the day without any stress. We also made sure that they could make the most of the items they hired by designing arrangements that worked firstly for the ceremony then could easily be switched up for the reception centrepieces. Seeing the photos of how fabulous it all looked is so rewarding and we’re so pleased to hear it all went well and looked exactly how we’d intended. Ufton Court looking cosy and warm on a chilly but gorgeous winter’s day. It’s been perfect weather for their open weekend and no doubt they’ll have a great turnout again today. We were lucky enough to be asked to provide some decor (chair drapes, trees and our greenery arch) along with some other fabulous suppliers (the gorgeous dried flower pew ends amongst other fabulous florals were created by ). Such a fabulous venue ♥️

If you’ve managed to pencil in your date with us then please don’t forget to secure that date now as we’re pretty much fully booked for 2023 and heading that way fast for 2024 and we wouldn’t want you to miss out! Securing you date doesn’t mean you have to have all your decor planned yet as once you’re booked in we can do all that fun stuff as soon as you’re ready but I’ve had so many couples contact me last minute these past 6 months looking to book decor and we’ve had to say sorry we can’t help on their date. As much as we’d love to help everyone, our business is based on the personal touch and getting your wedding decor just right with our experienced team so we are limited to how many we can squeeze in! Confetti I think is a must have for your wedding. We can make up little eco-friendly packets of petals for you and even personalise the labels but it’s also quite an easy DIY if you want to have a hand in creating some of your wedding decor. Look out for our upcoming workshops where you can learn to make all manner of simple yet stunning wedding DIYs or ask us for a quote if confetti is something you need ticked off your to do list. Don’t always rule out hotels as automatically being too corporate as Norton Park is a great example of what can be waiting for you.
